Late Chidi Iloka's Death : Soludo Orders Autopsy

Governor of Anambra State, Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo has ordered for autopsy to unravel the mystery behind the sudden death of Late Mrs Chidi Iloka, the wife of the suspended Transition Chairman of Nnewi North Local Government.

Different stories have enveloped her death ranging from 'domestic violence' to 'death by accident'. The breaking News of her death followed numerous outcry on social media with accompanying videos of her bruised remains and that of a journalist who claimed to be hunted by some groups allegedly working for the husband of the deceased, Hon. Mbazulike Iloka.

In the heat of the social media protest, the Government of Anambra State through the Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Matters suspended the embattled Chairman. His suspension came barely few weeks of his inauguration and taking oath of office as Administrator of Nnewi North LGA.

After his suspension, he spoke to the press and narrated how his late wife died. His in-law, the father of the deceased also came out to explain that there is no animosity between the two families. He confirmed that his late daughter was living peacefully with the husband before her death which countered the earlier news of serious rift between the families.

The Governor of Anambra State having listened to both stories, have ordered for autopsy to the final result of what actually happened to the late Mrs. Chidi Iloka.

Anambra Current News will continue to update you on this particular story as it emerges. Stay tuned
