 GOVERNOR ABBA  YUSUF SACKS  KANO STATE HEAD OF SERVICE   The Executive Governor of Kano State, Abba Kabir Yusuf, has relieved the State Head of Service, Abdullahi Musa, of his appointment with immediate effect. In a statement  by the Director General, Media and Publicity to the Governor, Sunusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, the decision is part of the ongoing efforts by the present administration to reposition the state civil service for greater efficiency, discipline, and improved service delivery across all government institutions. Governor Yusuf expressed appreciation to the outgoing Head of Service for his contributions and dedication to the service of the State  The statement further directed that Bilkisu Shehu Maimota, the Permanent Secretary, Admin and General Services at the Cabinet Office, to serve in an  acting capacity pending the appointment of a substantive Head of Service.  Residents Move To Recall Hon Ebele Ejiofor

Registered voters in Anaocha I State Constituency have moved to recall the house member representing them in Anambra State House Of Assembly, Hon. Leonard Ebele Ejiofor.

In a letter addressed to the Chairman of Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and signed by different individuals from the Constituency explained that the reason for his recall is because of poor representation, non performance , abuse of legislative privileges, non-involvement and consultation with the constituents before voting in some constitutional issues 

The letter/petition addressed to Independent National Electoral Commission has the signatures of about 964 registered voters within the constituency.
