 Nicole Kidman recalls the heartbreaking moment she found out her mom died Nicole Kidman has opened up about the heartbreaking moment she learned of her mother Janelle’s death just as she was about to accept a best actress award at the Venice International Film Festival.  The Babygirl star recalled being backstage when she received the news, saying she returned to her room “completely devastated” and unsure how she would move forward without her mother, who had been such a central part of her life. She described the “harrowing” attempt to leave Venice in the middle of the night to return to Australia, only to turn back, overwhelmed and alone.  Director Halina Reijn later read a statement on Kidman’s behalf, dedicating the award to Janelle and acknowledging the collision of art and life in that painful moment. RRS RECOVERS 13 PROTECTIVE RAILS FROM FLEEING VANDALS.(PHOTOS).#PRESS RELEASE.

RRS recovers 13 protective rails from fleeing vandals.

Early this morning, specifically, 12:10 a.m. on Carter Bridge, Ijora – Olopa, RRS officers on routine patrol noticed a mini – bus, popularly called Korope, registration number, LSD 440 XY with four occupants driving in a suspicious manner.

The officers chased the ‘korope’ to Oto, Ijora area, where they caught up with the mini bus. The occupants abandoned the vehicle and fled. 

On searching the vehicle, 13 bars of bridge protective railings were recovered. 

The vehicle has been towed to the RRS HQ, for further investigations.
