  President Bola Tinubu has identified the creative economy as a pivotal element of his administration’s economic diversification agenda, reaffirming his commitment to positioning Nigeria’s creative sector as a driving force for global influence. The President stated this at the launch of the 2024 Abuja International Carnival at Eagle Square, Abuja. President Tinubu, represented by Vice-President Kashim Shettima, said the carnival reaffirms the essence of who Nigerians are—”a people of culture, a people of art, a people of colour, and a people of shared values”. RRS RECOVERS 13 PROTECTIVE RAILS FROM FLEEING VANDALS.(PHOTOS).#PRESS RELEASE.


RRS recovers 13 protective rails from fleeing vandals.

Early this morning, specifically, 12:10 a.m. on Carter Bridge, Ijora – Olopa, RRS officers on routine patrol noticed a mini – bus, popularly called Korope, registration number, LSD 440 XY with four occupants driving in a suspicious manner.

The officers chased the ‘korope’ to Oto, Ijora area, where they caught up with the mini bus. The occupants abandoned the vehicle and fled. 

On searching the vehicle, 13 bars of bridge protective railings were recovered. 

The vehicle has been towed to the RRS HQ, for further investigations.
