Refreshing your memory, Baba Ijesha was arrested and sentenced to 5 years imprisonment for raping a minor, who is the adopted daughter of comedian Princess. Giving an update on the case in a recent interview, he said Baba Ijesha’s appeal process is still ongoing in court. He claimed that there was no evidence that he slept with the hole; hence, the judge didn’t sentence him to life imprisonment. Yomi stated that Princess called Baba Ijesha to shoot a skit, and the girl also made a similar statement in court. Soludo's Daughter Kicks Off Supports For Father's Made-in-Anambra Initiative

Ms Adaora Soludo, daughter of the Governor of Anambra State, Professor Chukwuma Soludo, is set to organize one of the biggest fashion carnivals in South East Nigeria on the Anambra soil. 

The fashion show, named "The Anambra Fashion Expo 2022", is a brainchild of her clothing brand, Aorah, which has made incredible foray into Europe and America in the last couple of years. 

According to the Ms Soludo, the Anambra Fashion Expo, scheduled for September 16 this year, is geared towards activating the fashion ecosystem in Anambra State and to give local talents in Anambra State and beyond an opportunity to embrace the global stage with their potentials.

She noted that the event which will hold in Awka, Anambra's capital city, will bring together the entire local fashion cycle in one place at one time, with approximately 800 persons in attendance and millions of others who would follow virtually from all over the world.

The governor's daughter explained that the event is designed to be the most glamorous celebrated across the entire south east landscape, with immense reward for participants.

Ms Soludo also noted that the Anambra Fashion Expo is one of her own ways of supporting Governor Soludo's Anambra-first policy, emphasizing that the show will reinvigorate Anambra's entertainment and tourism base and rejig the interests of Anambra youths in fashion and productivity.

The show's theme, "In Between Time for All Times", captures emerging trends and creativities in the industry and how young talents can maximize them.

Namtira Bwala has threatened to file a lawsuit against the school authorities if her abusers are not punished within 48 hours. In a letter drafted by her lawyers, Deji Adeyanju and Co, Namtira asked the school authorities to immediately investigate and pronounce the stiffest punishments in the student’s rule book on Ms.Maryam Hassan, Miss Faliya, and nine other students who bullied her.
