 COURT RESTRAINS RESIDENT DOCTORS FROM EMBARKING ON STRIKE  The national industrial court Abuja division has restrained all members and agents of the national association of resident doctors from calling, directing, organizing, participating in, and embarking upon any form of industrial action.  Justice Emmanuel Danjuma Subilim gave the order in an interim injunction filed by the federal government through the office of the attorney general of the federation and minister of justice.  The court temporally barred members of the association from embarking on any form of strike, work stoppages, go-slows, picketing, or any other form of industrial protest or disruption. The association is equally restrained from taking steps preparatory to any form of industrial action from the 12th day of january, 2026. ... alleges that there are threats and pressures from some quarters to alter the outcome of the autopsy report.
...acc.uses the family of late Chidi Iloka of compromise.
...pulls out the two pathologists representing the state govt in the autopsy exercise.
...orders police to begin investigation of possible dom.estic viol€nce, h0.micide and mu.rder.
...says the manner the pathologist representing MbaMba released his personal preliminary result of the a.utopsy without the knowledge of the team representing the state govt is suspicious.
... gives instances of other suspension moves by Mbamba and family on the dea.th of Mrs Iloka.

The position of the Anambra state govt was signed by the Commissioner for Justice/Attorney General, Commissioner for Health and Commissioner for Women Affairs.

The govt said it reserves other steps it will take pending the outcome of the full investigation by police.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive.
