 Married Zimbabwean Bouncer Killed in Love Triangle Incident A Zimbabwean bouncer, Emmanuel Mahamba, was killed in Rivonia, Johannesburg, after being run over multiple times by a Ugandan man in a Ford Ranger. Reports say Emmanuel was having an affair with a woman named Thombizodzwa, who was also involved with the Ugandan man. Out of anger, the suspect allegedly hit Emmanuel twice and then drove over him seven times. Emmanuel was married and lived in Centurion. He was originally from Mvuma, Zimbabwe. The community is in shock over the tragic incident. One more photo below.

On 08/09/2022 at about 1600hrs, based on intelligence received, Police operatives attached to Intelligence Unit of the Command arrested the following suspects:

-Daniel Ishaya aged 23yrs ‘m’ of Gurmana, Shiroro (Proprietor)
-Francis Ede aged 30yrs ‘m’ of Enugu State (Director)  

The two persons were suspected for establishing and operating a fake school known as Excellence College of Health Sciences and Technology, located in Maikunkele area of Bosso LGA. 

During interrogation, Daniel Ishaya confessed that he established the School in the Year 2020 while he commenced admission in the Year 2021 without any authorization or certification from appropriate government body.

He confessed further that he forged a certificate of registration to deceive members of the public to register and gain admission into the school, in which about one hundred students had enrolled into the School at the rate of seventy-eight thousand naira each (N78,000) for tuition fee and other charges, while Francis Ede has been helping him to manage the school as the managing director with about twenty teachers. 

The case is under investigation and the suspects will be arraigned in court for prosecution as soon as investigation is concluded.  

However, the Commissioner of Police Niger State Command CP Monday Bala Kuryas, fsi wishes to admonish members of the public to be wary of existence of such schools when seeking for admission for their wards to avoid wastage of resources and time in attending such uncertified and unaccredited school.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up.
