Tinubu forgave Northern govs who opposed him in 2023, says Shettima Vice President Kashim Shettima has said President Bola Tinubu demonstrated political maturity by forgiving northern governors who opposed his presidential bid in the 2023 election, urging politicians in Kwara State to similarly reconcile after their contests. Shettima stated this on Wednesday in Ilorin while speaking at the turbaning of the Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, as the Sardauna of Ilorin Emirate by the Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari. The Vice President, who spoke against the backdrop of political activities ahead of the 2027 elections, urged politicians to regard political contests as temporary and avoid allowing disagreements arising from them to become permanent divisions. FAKE REV. SISTER ARRESTED FOR CHILD TRAFFICKING IN RIVERS STATE,15 CHILDREN RESCUED.(PHOTO).

The Rivers State Police Command has arrested a suspected female child trafficker who claims to be a Rev. Sister at Aluu in Ikwerre Local Government Area of Rivers State.

State Commissioner of Police, Eboka Friday disclosed this while briefing journalists in Port Harcourt on Tuesday.

According to him, they searched the woman’s house and rescued fifteen children after receiving credible information on her alleged illegal activities.

He said one of the children revealed that he was kidnapped from Bayelsa state and taken to the woman who kept him with other children for sometime before he was sold to a lady who took him to Lagos. Months later the boy was returned to the buyer for being too sharp.

The CP also said, another child explained that she and her other two siblings were with their mother at Ada-George when they were kidnapped and brought to the Rev. Sis. Two of the children were later sold and their whereabout still unknown.

He stated that another of the rescued kids revealed that she was abducted from Mile 1 and brought to the woman.

The CP noted that the suspect is being economical with the truth despite recovering a lot of fake documents from her.

He assured that the matter will be properly investigated and the suspect charged to court upon conclusion of Investigation.
