Ondo State Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu,SAN, has commiserated with former Head of Service and Chairman of the State Civil Service Commission, Mr Ajose Kudehinbu over the death of his wife, Mrs. Eunice Adunni Kudehinbu.

The Governor led members of the State Executive Council to condole Kudehinbu at his residence in Akure.

Governor Akeredolu, who said he was short of words, described the death of Mrs. Kudehinbu as an unfortunate development.

While noting the finality of death, the Governor stressed that only God Almighty can comfort Kudehinbu and his children.

Arakunrin Akeredolu, who prayed God to give them the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable loss, charged Kudehinbu to brace up for the children.

He said:”Well, in all things, as Christians, we should give thanks. Because as we all know, death is a finality. When we as humans are faced by such things, we know it is not easy.

“Whoever hasn’t been in your shoe can’t understand. I know you are a man. And I know you are strong. You need that now. This is where you need to know that as a man when you are faced with all these challenges, you remain strong.

“God will grant you the fortitude to bear this loss. The loss is irreparable. I know it is not easy. The only thing we will leave you with is that, may the good Lord be the one to comfort you.

“We have come to commiserate with you and show that we are here anytime you want to call on us for anything.

Responding, Mr. Kudehinbu, who expressed sadness over the death of his wife, thanked Governor Akeredolu for his interventions and identifying with him in trying times.

"I remember that just immediately after the passing of my wife, you are the first person to call me. I want to thank you for the call because it matters to me. It matters to my family.

"When my wife was going to the hospital, she asked me a question which I didn't answer. She asked me, she said “can you alone take care of the children? I didn't answer the question because I didn't know how to answer it.
