 PRESIDENT TINUBU CONGRATULATES MINISTER OF STATE FOR FOREIGN AFFAIRS AMBASSADOR ENIKANOLAIYE ON HIS BIRTHDAY   President Bola Tinubu has congratulated the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Sola Enikanolaiye, on his birthday.    A statement by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President, Information and Strategy, indicates that the President describes Ambassador Enikanolaiye as a distinguished diplomat, accomplished administrator and dedicated public servant whose career reflects professionalism, patriotism and a deep commitment to Nigeria.   Ambassador Enikanolaiye served in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from August 1982 to August 2017, rising through the ranks to become Permanent Secretary. GOV. ORTOM SUSPENDS BIPC MD OVER ALLEGED FINANCIAL IMPROPRIETY



Benue state Governor, Samuel Ortom, has suspended the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer, CEO, of Benue Investment and Property Company, Limited, BIPC, Barr. Alex Adum, from office over financial impropriety leveled against him.

The Secretary to the State Government, SSG, Professor Anthony Ijoho, SAN, disclosed this in a statement he signed and made available to newsmen in Makurdi, on Sunday.

The statement read in part, “the Executive Governor of Benue State, His Excellency, Samuel Ortom, has approved the indefinite suspension of Alex Ter Adum, Esq, from office as Managing Director/ CEO of Benue Investment and Property Company Limited pending the termination of cases of financial impropriety levelled against him.

The statement said the suspension is with immediate effect.

“He has therefore been directed to hand over to the General Manager, Corporate Service, Company Secretary, Benue Investment and Property Company Limited.”
