 PRESIDENT TINUBU CONGRATULATES MINISTER OF STATE FOR FOREIGN AFFAIRS AMBASSADOR ENIKANOLAIYE ON HIS BIRTHDAY   President Bola Tinubu has congratulated the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Sola Enikanolaiye, on his birthday.    A statement by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President, Information and Strategy, indicates that the President describes Ambassador Enikanolaiye as a distinguished diplomat, accomplished administrator and dedicated public servant whose career reflects professionalism, patriotism and a deep commitment to Nigeria.   Ambassador Enikanolaiye served in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from August 1982 to August 2017, rising through the ranks to become Permanent Secretary. LASG DEBUNKS ALLEGATION ON SALE OF CAMPAIGN STICKERS


The Lagos State Government has debunked the claims contained in a viral video on social media alleging its participation in forcing the motoring public to purchase stickers to raise funds for the campaign of some All Progressive Congress candidates.

A statement issued by the Honourable Commissioner for Transportation, Dr. Frederic Oladeinde condemned the claim in strong terms, stating that the sticker was neither created nor circulated by the Ministry or any agency of the government.

He urged stakeholders, especially those providing public transportation, to report anyone caught selling the stickers in the name of the Lagos State Ministry of Transportation, advising those involved in the mischief to refrain or face the wrath of the Law.
