 Lagos Court Jails NOGASA Chair, Fatuyi Phillips 21 Years  for N43.5m Fraud    Justice Mojisola Dada of the Special Offences Court sitting in Ikeja, Lagos, on Monday, November 18, 2024, convicted and sentenced Fatuyi Yemi Philips, Chairman, Natural Oil and Gas Suppliers Association of Nigeria, NOGASA, to 21 years imprisonment for N43.5m fraud.   The Lagos Zonal Directorate of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, on April 5, 2022, arraigned Philips alongside his firm, Oceanview Oil and Gas Limited, on a two-count charge bordering on obtaining money by false pretence to the tune of N43, 502,000.00   Count one reads: "Fatuyi Yemi Philips and Oceanview Oil and Gas Nigeria Limited, on or about the 28th day of September, 2016 at Lagos, within the jurisdiction of this Honourable Court, with intent to defraud, obtained the aggregate sum of N43, 502,000.00 from Elochukwu Okoye and Elebana Unique Ventures Nigeria Limited on behalf of WAPCIL Nigeria Limited under the false rep

PRESS CONFERENCE BY THE COMMISSIONER OF POLICE, KANO STATE COMMAND, CP ABUBAKAR LAWAL, fdc AT THE BOMPAI POLICE HEADQUARTERS KANO ON FRIDAY 9TH SEPTEMBER, 2022


Ladies and Gentlemen of the Press;

I welcome you to Bompai Police Command Headquarters Kano, to update you on the recent breakthroughs and successes recorded by the Command in our effort to effectively Police Kano State, exactly two (2) weeks after my assumption of office as the 43rd Commissioner of Police. In line with the directives of the Inspector General of Police, IGP Alkali Baba Usman psc(+), NPM, fdc on Community-based Policing, Intelligence gathering, Visibility Policing and Operation Restore Peace, the Command reviewed its anti-crime strategies and conducted discreet investigations on all cases.

2.   In our roadmap to achieve a peaceful Kano State, we have commenced robust community policing engagements, intelligence-led and visibility policing, use of technology in tackling crimes, synergy with sister security agencies and community policing stakeholders, sustaining the operation restore peace and massive public enlightenment and sensitization. From the Command’s last Press Conference to date, Three Hundred and Thirty-One (331) suspects were arrested for major offences like Armed Robbery, Kidnapping, Car Theft, Thuggery (Daba), Drug Abuse, etc., most of which were charged to court for prosecution.

4. Finally, I must appreciate the Kano State Government under the leadership of his Excellency, the Executive Governor of Kano State, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, OFR (Khadimul Islam) for their continuous support of the Police Command, especially the installation of Communication gadgets at the Command’s Headquarters, Construction of Divisions & Area Commands and repairs of our Patrol Vehicles, the good people of Kano State, other Security Agencies, Traditional Rulers, Religious Leaders, the Media, members of Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC), Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) and our Community Policing Stakeholders for their prayers, support, encouragement and cooperation. DETAIL OF CASES

1. ARREST OF NOTORIOUS ARMED ROBBERY AND KIDNAPPING SUSPECTS:-  On 31/08/2022 at about 1600hrs, credible intelligence revealed that some armed robbers have planned to perpetrate their Armed Robbery and Kidnapping at a location in Panshekara Quarters, Kano. Upon receipt of the report, the Commissioner of Police, Kano State Command, CP Abubakar Lawal, fdc raised and instructed the team of Operation Restore Peace led by SP Muhammad Aliyu Auwal to foil the armed robbery and arrest the culprits. The team immediately swung into action, trailed and arrested One Shehu Alh. Umaru, ‘m’,20 years and Mamman Buba, ‘m’, 19yeras all of Yayare Village via Damaturu LGA of Yobe State. On investigation, the suspects confessed to having arrived Kano on 28th August, 2022 on invitation by one Abubakar SNU, ‘m’, of Panshekara Quarters to Kidnap his neighbour who recently sold his house at the rate of Eight million Naira (N8,000,000.) and received the money as Ransom. The suspects further confessed to having come with One AK-47 Rifle and Two Pistols and their involvement in a series of kidnapping and armed robbery Operations within Kano, Taraba, Yobe and the  Gombe States. The Commissioner of Police, Kano State Command, CP Abubakar Lawal, fdc ordered for discreet investigation. Suspects will be charged to court upon completion of the investigation.

2. RESCUE OF KIDNAPPING VICTIMS:- On 30/08/2022 at about 1530hrs, a team of Operation Restore Peace led by SP Muhammad Aliyu Auwal, while working on the directives of the Commissioner of Police, Kano State Command, CP Abubakar Lawal, fdc on follow-up update Case of Kidnapping, one Aliyu Abbas, ‘m’, 57years and one Fatima Magaji, ‘f’, 23years, all of Gumawa village, Gabasawa LGA, Kano, were rescued unhurt along Kanya Babba village, Babura LGA, Jigawa State. Victims were taken to Sir Muhammad Sunusi Specialist Hospital treated and discharge. The Commissioner of Police Kano State Command, CP Abubakar Lawal,orderedderer the arrest of the culprits.

3. ARREST OF SUSPECT FOR HUMAN TRAFFICKING AND RESCUE OF VICTIMS:- On 30/08/2022 at about 2045hrs, a team of Operation Restore Peace led by CSP Mannir Madugu, while on intelligence-led patrol arrested one Yusuf Musa, ‘m’, 25years of Bugama of Rivers State with three (3) Children, all ‘ m’ of about 8, 10 and 14years old respectively. On interrogation, a suspect could na not give a satisfactory account of them. Preliminary investigation revealed that, the children were transported the ed from the water lCasablancasablanca areas of Port Harcourt, Rivers State to Kano. The Commissioner of Police, Kano State Command, CP Abubakar Lawal, fdc the ordered case to be transferred to the Command’s Criminal InvestDepartmentpartment for discreet investigation.

4. ARREST OF SUSPECTED THIEVES AND RECOVERY OF MOTOR VEHICLE:- On 29/08/2022 at about based his, based on sustained intelligence report, in a case of Car theft reported, a team of Operation Restore Peace led by CSP Alabi Lateef arrested One Dayyabu Mohammad, ‘m’, 30years old of ‘yar adua Quarters Kano, in connection with series of Car theft and other Motor Vehicles s within the metropolitan. On investigation, the suspect confhavingd to having conspired with one Alh Muttaqa SNU and stole about Six (6) Motor vehicles s within the Kano metropolis. Further investigation led to the arrest of Five (5) receivers where five (5vehicles Vehicles were recovered from them. The Commissioner of Police, Kano State Command, CP Abubakar Lawal, fdc Orda ered for discreet investigation. 

5. ARREST OF SUSPECTED KIDNAPPERS AND RECOVERY OF ARM AND AMMUNITION:-  On 01/08/2022, was a  report received from a resident of Tunkurawa village, Gabasawa LGA, Kano, that unknown hoodlums stormed the area and Kidnapped somUponpeople. On receipt of the report, the Commissioner of Police, Kano State Command, CP Abubakar Lawal, fdc raised and the instructed team of Operation Restore Peace led by SP Muhammad Aliyu Auwal to rescue the victims and arrest the culprits. The team immediately swung into an, on the 29/08/2022 at about 1530hrs, the team engaged the hoa hoodlums in a gun duel at Wangara village, Gabasawa LGAthe , Kano at the point of collecting the ransom of Nine million Naira (N9,000,000), one of the Suspects was neutralized while three (3) others namely, Abdulrahman Musa, ‘m’, 40years of Kanya Babba village Babura LGA, Jigawa State Jamilu Akilu, ‘m’, 30years, Ibrahim Akilu, ‘m’, 20years all of Andawa village of Gezawa LGA, Kano State were arrested, one (1) AK-47 Rifle with 20 rounds of live ammunition were recovered. The Commissioner of Police, Kano State Command, CP Abubakar Lawal, fdc Ora dered for discreet invest question. The case will be charged to court upon company letion of investigation.

6. ARREST OF SUSPECTED DRUG DEALERS:- On 08/09/2022 at about 11oohrs team of Operation Restore Peace led by DSP Lamara Shalele Azare, Commander Rapid Response Team while on intelligence-led patrol along Kumbotso, Bachirawa, Gyadi-Gyadi and Kofar Nassarawa axis arrested one Adda’u Muhammad, ‘m’, aged 25 years old of Kumbotso LGA, Kano, Sani Muhammad, ‘m’, of Kofar Nassarawa Quarters, Bashir Nasiru, ‘m’, aged 26 years old of Gyadi-Gyadi Quarters and Abubakar Zakari, ‘m’, aged 22 years old of Bachirawa Quarterswere . Suspects arrested in posa session of a large number of drugs suspected to be Indian Hemp, Two Thousand Five Hundred (2500) pieces of Rebozol Tablets, One Hundred (100) packs of Diazepharm, Two (2) long knives and other dangerous weapons. On in, investigation suspects crossed to be dealing in illicit drugs and partake in a series of armed robberies within the metropolitan. The Commissioner of Police, Kano State Command, CP Abubakar Lawal, fdc ordered discreet invested suspected. Suspect will be charged to court upon completion of an investigation. 

7. ARREST OF NOTORIOUS KIDNAPPERS:- On 29/08/2022 at about 1000hrs, intelligence gathering revealed that one Emmanuel John, ‘m’, of Badawa Quarters and Fidelis SNU, ‘m’, alias Legend of Panshekara, conspired and KiMrpped One Mr Shadrack, ‘m’, a resident of Sharada lUponout Kano. On receipt of the report, the Commissioner of Police, Kano State Command, CP Abubakar Lawal, fdc raised and the instructed team of Operation Restore Peace led by CSP Ya’u Sadik Abdul to rescue the victim and arrest the culprits. The team immediate swung in, and on 01/09/2022, Victim was rescued unhurt and the suspects' were arrested ed while in a hidden place. The Commissioner of Police, Kano State Command, CP Abubakar Lawal, Ordered discreet investigations. Suspects will be charged to court upon the completion of investigations.

8. ARREST OF SUSPECTED ARMED ROBBERS AND RECOVERY OF REVOLVER PISTOL: On 19/08/2022 at aba out 1900hrs, team of Operation Restore Peace led by SP Muhammad Aliyu Auwal while working on credible intelligence, arrested one Nasiru Kabiru, ‘m’, 20years of Gadon Kaya Quarters alias Cash Money and Sadiq Lawal, ‘m’, 18years of Tal’udu Quarters Kano in Possession of One (1) Revolver Pistol with Eleven (11) rounds of live ammunition and one empty shell. The Commissioner of Police, Kano State Command, CP Abubakar Lawal, fdc ordered for discreet investigation. Suspects will be charged to court upon can completion of the investigation.

9. ARREST OF SUSPECTED ARMED ROBBERS AND RECOVERY OF EXHIBIT:- On 17/08/2022 at about 1630hrs, a team of Operation Restore Peace led by CSP Yunusa A. Danzomo, while on surveillance patrol, arrested one Najashi Ahmed, ‘m’, 17years of Gwammaja Quarters and one Abubakar Abdullahi, ‘m’, 20years of brigade Quarters Kano, suspects specialized in disguise and trick as Tricycle (Keke-Napep) Rider to robbed passengers. On Spot search, S phones) Mobile phone suspected to be stolen were recovered. In the investigation, the suspects confessed An investigation Investigation is in progress.

10. ARREST OF SUSPECTED THIEVES AND RECOVERY OF STOLEN MOTEHICLE:- On 28/01/2022 at about 0335hrs, team of Operation Puff Adder led by CSP Alabi Lateef while working on credible intelligence and sustain anti-crime patrol arrested one Bashir Abdulrahman, ‘m’, aged 42 years old, and Isah Sani, ‘m’, aged 54 years old, all of Gusau Town, Zamfara State in possession of one Toyota Hilux Motor white in color 2013 model and one Honda Accord Motor colour, Ash in color, 2008 model. On the spot search in the said vehicles, exhibits recovered include; Bunch of s comprising of Fourteen (14) fabricated keys and Twenty Eight (28) other different types of Keys, two (2) Pliers, Four (4) Spanners, One (1) adjustable Spanner, Four (4) Screw Drivers, one (1) Sharp Knife, one (1) Iron for raising Car Luck pin, One (1) Cable Wire and Three (3) Mobile Phones. On the investigation, suspechavingonfessed to have received the said Hilux from one Tijjani and one Nura all ‘m’ indigenes of Kebbi State.  Owners of the stolen Motor Vehicles were traced on discreet investigation and suspects will be charged to court upon n completion of investigation.

11. ARREST OF SUSPECTED ARMED ROBBERS AND RECOVERY OF STOLEN M VEHICLE:- On 12/08/2022 at about 1630hrs, team of Operation Restore Peace led by CSP Awaisu Sulaiman while working on credible intelligence and sustained anti-crime patrol arrested  Dayyabu Mohammad, ‘m’, ageRiminiyears old of Rimin Kebe Quarters Kano and one other in possession of an unregistered Toyota Corolla Motor Vehicle, maroon in colour suspected to be stolen. On preliminary ry investigation, suspect confessed to having robbed thegunpointhicle at gun point along Bidda, Kutigi A case Niger State. Case under investigation.

12. ARREST OF NOTORIOUS DRUG DEALERS AND RECOVERY OF ILLICIT DRUGS:- On 10/08/2022 at about 1830hrs, team of Operation Restore Peace led by CSP Abubakar Hamma while on intelligence-led along Kwari Market Kano arrested one Mubarak Mohammed, ‘m’, alias ‘’Badali’’, 27 years old of Fagge Quarters Kano, a notorious drug dealer operating within Fagge and Kofar Mata axis. On spot search, Sixty-five (65) bottles of codeine syrup, Thirty (30) wraps of dried leaves suspected to be Indian Hemp, Fifteen (15) Satchets of Rhopanol Tablets, Seventy Three (73) pieces of Exols, Bunch of Charms and ID Card bearing his name and picture. On investigation revealed that, suspect has been on the command wanted list. The Commissioner of Police, Kano State Command, CP Abubakar Lawal, fdc ordered for discreet investigation.

13. ARREST OF SUSPECTED ARMED ROBBERS AND RECOVERY OF STOLEN MOTOR VEHICLE:- On the 12/08/2022 at about 1630hrs, team of Operation Restore Peace led by CSP Awaisu Sulaiman while working on credible intelligence and sustained anti-crime patrol arrested  Dayyabu Mohammad, ‘m’, aged 35 years old of Rimin Kebe Quarters Kano and one other in possession of an unregistered Toyota Corolla Motor Vehicle, maroon in color suspected to be stolen. On preliminary investigation, suspect confessed to have robbed the motor vehicle at gun point along Bidda, Kutigi Road Niger State. Case under investigation.

14. ARREST OF SUSPECTED THIEF AND RECOVERY OF STOLEN MOTOR VEHICLE:- On the 05/08/2022 at about 1630hrs, a team of Operation Restore Peace led by CSP Alabi Lateef while working on credible intelligence arrested one Salisu Yahaya, ‘m’, and a stolen Toyota Camry Motor Vehicle was recovered in his possession. Further investigation led detectives to sustainable led operation at Sokoto where one Kabiru Abdulkadir, ‘m’, 21years of K/Marke village, Sokoto State was arrested and a Toyota Camry Black in Color, Toyota Yaris Blue in color, Toyota Corolla Dark Blue in Color and a Toyota Corolla 98 Model, were recovered in his possession. On investigation suspect confessed to have received the stolen Vehicles from one Salisu Muhammad.  The Commissioner of Police, Kano State Command, CP Abubakar Lawal, fdc ordered for discreet investigation and traced the owners of the recovered vehicles. Suspects will be charged to court upon completion of investigation. 

15. ARREST OF SUSPECTED KIDNAPPER AND RESCUED OF A KIDNAPPED VICTIM:- On the 31/07/2022 at about 1800hrs, following the report received from one Yasir Abubakar, ‘m’, aged 38 years old of Talata Mafara, Zamfara State,on 04/07/2022 at about 0700hrs, that one Zainab Nasiru, ‘f’, aged 11 years old of Tudun Wada LGA, Kano State was kidnapped by unknown person(s). on receipt of the report the Commissioner of Police, Kano State Command, CP Abubakar Lawal, fdc raised and instructed the team of Operation Restore Peace led by SP Muhammad Aliyu Auwal to rescue the victim and arrest the culprit. The team immediately swung into action after sustainable follow up, the suspect was arrested at Yawuri LGA, Kebbi State, forthwith victim was rescued unhurt and re-unite with her family. Case under investigation. 

16. ARREST OF NOTORIOUS MOTOR VEHICLE RECEIVER AND RECEIVING OF STOLEN MOTOR VEHICLE:- On the 03/08/2022 at about 2030hrs, based on sustainable investigation on the report received on 30/07/2022,that unknown thief stole away a Toyota Camry  2000 model, Silver in Color. Team of Operation Restore Peace swung into action, one Salisu Muhammad alias Salisu Gambo, ‘m’, of Gusau Town, Zamfara State was arrested in possession of the said motor Vehicle. On investigation the suspect confessed to have received the Toyota Corolla from one Mohammad alias Peter. The Commissioner of Police, Kano State Command, CP Abubakar Lawal, fdc ordered for discreet investigation and arrest of his accompliance. Case will be charged to court upon completion of investigation. 

17. ARREST OF SUSPECTED ARMED ROBBERS AND RECOVERY OF THEIR OPERATIONAL WEAPONS/VEHICLE:- On the 02/08/2022 at about 1800hrs, team of Operation Restore Peace led by CSP Alabi Lateef while on intelligence led patrol along Baban Gwari round-about intercepted one Mubarak Kabiru, ‘m’, aged 23 years old of Kurna Quarters and Sanusi Sulaiman, ‘m’, of Hayin Rigasa, Kaduna State in possession of Motor Vehicle a Toyota Corolla LE, silver in color. On spot searched, Two (2) Beretta Pistols with their magazine a network Jammer, Three (3) Brown CEDEAO card and a Niger Republic National ID Card. On investigation, the suspect confessed to series of armed robberies and Car snatching within Kano metropolis. The Commissioner of Police, Kano State Command, CP Abubakar Lawal, fdc ordered for discreet investigation, suspect will be charged to court upon completion of investigation. 

18. ARREST OF SUSPECTED KIDNAPPER:- On the 28/07/2022 at about 1430hrs, report was received from one Abdulmumin Usman, ‘m’, of Maikalwa Village, Kiru LGA, Kano State that on 17/07/2022 at about 1430hrs, unknown kidnappers  dropped a brand new phone and one live ammunition in his premises and subsequent received anonymous  phone calls from the above phone threatening to kidnap him or else he should pay them Ten Million Naira (N10,000,000:00) as ransom. On receipt of the report, the Commissioner of Police, Kano State Command, CP Abubakar Lawal, fdc raised and instructed team of Operation Restore Peace led by SP Muhammad Aliyu Auwal to arrest the culprits. The team immediately swung into action and arrested one Abdullahi Alhaji Sani, ‘m’, aged 32 years old of Dan-Shoshiya Village Kiru, Kano State at the point of collecting ransom, the SIM Card used in negotiation of the ransom was also recovered. On investigation, the suspect confessed to the crime and further mentions his accompliance. The Commissioner of Police, Kano State Command, CP Abubakar Lawal, fdc ordered for discreet investigation. Case will be charged to court upon completion of investigation. 

19. ARREST OF SUSPECTED KIDNAPPERS AND RECOVERY OF AK-47 RIFLE:- On the 28/07/2022 at about 1600hrs, team of Operation Restore Peace led by CSP Musa Muhammad, while on intelligence-led patrol arrested one Haruna Sa’idu, ‘m’, of Dutsinma LGA, Katsina State and Da’u Jibrin, ‘m’, Majingini Village, Bagwai LGA Kano. On spot searched, one (1) AK-47 Rifle was recovered in their possession. The Commissioner of Police, Kano State Command, CP Abubakar Lawal, fdc ordered case to be transferred to the Commands Criminal Investigation Department for discreet investigation.   

20. ARREST OF NOTORIOUS KIDNAPPER AND RECOVERY OF OPERATIONAL WEAPON:- On the 28/07/2022 at about 1800hrs team of Operation Restore Peace led by SP Muhammad Aliyu Auwal while on intelligence-led operation arrested one Ahmadu Liman, ‘m’, 32 years of Tudun Kaya, Karaye LGA Kano in possession of one (1) AK-47 rifle with (5) rounds of live ammunition the Commissioner of Police, Kano State Command, CP Abubakar Lawal, fdc ordered for discreet investigation. Case under investigation. 

21. ARREST OF SUSPECTED THUGS AND RECOVERY OF DENGEROUS WEAPONS WITH ILLICIT DRUGS:- On the 26/07/2022 at about 0630hrs, a distress call was received that, a gang of unknown hoodlums attacked a Tricycle Rider at Kofar Mata Quarters, and robbed his valuables. On receipt of the report, the Commissioner of Police, Kano State Command, CP Abubakar Lawal, fdc raised and instructed team of Operation Restore Peace led by CSP Bala Muhammad to arrest the culprits. Team immediately swung into action and arrested one Mohammad Abdul’aziz alias Danjaka, ‘m’, of Kofar Mata Quarters, Adamu Muhammad alias Dakwale, ‘m’, of Yakasai Quarters, and Ibrahim Muhammad alias Messi, ‘m’, of sabon Titi Quarters, were arrested in possession of a loud speaker belong to the victim, a sharp knife and one (1) tube of red sun solution. On investigation, suspects confessed to the crime and charged to court for prosecution. 

22. ARREST OF SUSPECTED KIDNAPPERS AND RECOVERY OF THEIR OPERATIONAL WEAPONS:- On 02/09/2022 at about 1600hrs, based on follow up and sustainable intelligence, team of Operation Restore Peace led by SP Aliyu Muhammad Auwal arrested one Mika’ilu Lawal, ‘m’, 35years old of Tinkis village, Karaye LGA, Alhaji Magaji Ardo, ‘m’, 47years of Sabuwar RinjiTsamiya village, Gwarzo LGA Kano, Ibahim Usman, ‘m’, Bashir Adamu, ‘m’, Mas;ud Abubakar, ‘m’, and Magaji Abdullahi,  ‘m’ all of same address in connection with Kidnapping. On spot searched, Four (4) locally made pistols were recovered in their possession. During investigation, the suspects confessed to the crime. 23. ARREST OF SUSPECT OF HUMAN TRAFFICKING AND RESCUE OF VICTIMS:- On the 08/09/2022 at about 2130hrs, team of Operation Restore peace led by CSP Mannir Madugu while on intelligence-led patrol intercepted one Okechuckwu, ‘m’, of 59 Abeokuta Road Sabon Gari area, Kano found with him nine (9) female teenagers of Osun and Oyo State Origin respectively. On investigation suspect confessed to his crime of Human Trafficking. The Commissioner of Police, Kano State Command, CP Abubakar Lawal, fdc ordered case to be transferred to the Commands Criminal Investigation Department for discreet investigation.  

24. FOILED KIDNAPPING AND ARREST OF SUSPECT:- 03/09/2022 at about 2045hrs, team of Operation Restore Peace led by SP Aliyu Muhammad Auwal while on intelligence-led Operation at State Road Kano, arrested one Abdulsamad Nasidi, ‘m’, suspect planned and lured his Cousin Brother one Mustapha Bashir, ‘m’, of Tudun Yola Quarters Kano, were he will be handed over to Kidnappers and Subsequently demand for a Twenty Million Naira (N20,000,000.) as Ransom from his family. Victim was rescued safely unhurt and handed over to his family. The Commissioner of Police, Kano State Command, CP Abubakar Lawal, fdc ordered for discreet investigation.

25. ARREST OF SUSPECTED CATTLE RUSTLER AND RECOVERY OF STOLEN COW:- On 06/09/2022 at about 0645hrs, team of Operation Restore Peace led by SP Bako Wara, while on intelligence-led patrol, arrested one Musa Tukur, ‘m’, 22years old of Yaya village of Ingawa LGA, Katsina State in possession of One (1) Cow. On investigation, Suspect confessed to have conspired with one other to stole the said Cow from the premises of one Abubakar Tela ruga of the same address. The owner of the Cow was traced, investigation is in Progress.

26. ARREST OF SUSPECTEED DRUG DEALER:- On the 7/8/2022 at about 0100hrs team of Operation Restore peace while on surveillance led-patrol along Rimin Kebe Quarters Ungogo LGA, Kano arrested one Abdulaziz Mustapha, ‘m’, in possession of Seventeen (17) Parcels of Indian Hemp, the suspect confessed to the crime. Commissioner of Police, Kano State Command, CP Abubakar Lawal, fdc ordered as to be charged to court.

27. RAIDS OF CRIMINAL HIDEOUTS AND BLACK SPOTS:- Between 28/07/2022 to 08/09/2022 clearance operation was conducted by a team of Operation Restore Peace, led by O/C Anti-Daba, CSP Bashir Musa Gwadabe led to the arrest of one Hundrfifty-the Three (163) suspects and recovery of fifty-three (53) Knives, Eighty (80) parcels of dried leaves suspected to be Indian Hemp, Thirty (30) mobile phones and other large quantity of other illicit drugs. Somewhere charged to court while others are under investigation.
