 Nigerian man takes up the challenge to be bur!ed alive for 24hours A Nigerian man who identifies as Young C has embarked on a challenge to be buried alive in a coffin for 24 hours.  He made this known in a series of posts on his Instagram page on Wednesday,  stating that the stunt was genuine and not a hoax.  He announced his intention to broadcast live footage from the coffin at night. Sharing a video on his Instagram account on Wednesday, he said, "I am going to be spending the next 24 hours buried in this casket. Guys, this is real, not fake.  "And the most amazing part is that I am going to go live by night." In a subsequent update, Young C revealed that he had been buried for over 8 hours and was experiencing physical discomfort, including excessive sweating. In an update on Wednesday evening, he said in part, "Guys, I have been buried alive for over 8 hours now. For those of you who saw my first video, I have been down here. Suspected cultists kill YABATECH student

A student of the Yaba College of Technology (YABATECH) Akoka, Lagos, identified as Korede Paul, was on Thursday, September 15, at about 10 pm, shot dead by gunmen suspected to be cultists.

A student of the school who witnessed the incident said the deceased was behind him when he was shot in front of the Art complex in the institution and is said to be the second person to have been murdered this semester.

It was also gathered that a female student also sustained a gunshot injury and has been rushed to the hospital for medical care.

A video shared on Twitter shows the victim in a pool of blood.

The spokesperson of the Lagos State Police Command, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, who confirmed the killing said they are gathering more information about the incident.

Namtira Bwala has threatened to file a lawsuit against the school authorities if her abusers are not punished within 48 hours. In a letter drafted by her lawyers, Deji Adeyanju and Co, Namtira asked the school authorities to immediately investigate and pronounce the stiffest punishments in the student’s rule book on Ms.Maryam Hassan, Miss Faliya, and nine other students who bullied her.
