 The credibility of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) voters’ register has come under intense scrutiny ahead of the 2027 general elections, following revelations by INEC Chairman Professor Joash Amupitan that names of deceased persons remain on the register. Amupitan disclosed that names of voters who died as far back as 15 years ago are still listed, a situation critics say could undermine the integrity of the 2027 polls and lead to significant financial waste through the printing of excess ballot papers and other election logistics. The INEC chairman made the revelation while receiving the Director-General/Chief Executive Officer of the National Identity Management Commission (NIMC), Abisoye Coker-Odusote, and her management team during a courtesy visit in Abuja on Wednesday. This is the Nteje family Who Died In Fatal accident.


 They will be buried this week in Nteje, the headquarters of Oyi Local Government Area.


The family of late Mr Okonkwo Emmanuel Esiobi of Irueri-Umuanuwa Amaokpo in Ezi Njete Oyi Local Government Area,Anambra state regret to announce the painful death of their sons,daughter and wife,Late Mr Chijioke Vincent Esiobi (35yrs),Late Mr Linus Chukwuebuka Esiobi (30yrs),Late. Mrs Ngozi Esiobi (27yrs) and Late Miss Chisimdi Esiobi (4yrs),who died on the 4th September 2020 after automobile crash along Engu-Onitsha Expressway.

Friday 7th of October 2022 is for official burial for Chijioke and Ebuka while Tuesday 11th October 2022 is for burial ceremony of Late Ngozi and Chisimdi Esiobi,as tradition demands. May all their souls rest in peace, Amen.
