 TROOPS STALL TERRORISTS'  MISSION TO ATTACK COMMUNITY, NAB SUSPECTED GUN RUNNERS IN ADAMAWA, SEIZE ARMS Troops of the Nigerian Army deployed for Counter terrorism operations in North East Nigeria, in conjunction with Civilian Joint Task Force, have successfully intercepted a group of terrorists on transit to unleash attack in Yola South Local Government Area of Adamawa State.  The troops on fighting patrol near Wuro Jabbe encountered the terrorists who were on a mission to attack the community. Troops engaged the terrorists in a fierce fire-fight that compelled them to succumb and abandon their firearms. The troops captured one  PKM Machine Gun, 402 rounds of 7.62 mm x 54 NATO ammunition and 110 rounds of 7.62 mm NATO. In a separate but related operation, troops responding to actionable intelligence intercepted 3 persons suspected of gun running in the Sukuk Community, located in the Madagali Local Government Area of the state. Anambra Has Road Crises- Governor Soludo Says, Flags-Off 16.25 Km Ajali To Ogbunka Road



Governor Chukwuma Soludo says Anambra State has road crises which his administration is already tackling to correct.

Governor Soludo stated this during the flag-off ceremony for the 16.25 kilometer Ajali-Akpu-Nawfija-Ogbunka road.

The Governor said that most communities in the state are desirous of roads which he has promised and keep.

He assured that his government will commence the project and more projects in the area, including Ezira to Achina road, into Onneh and called on communities to protect government infrastructure in their locations.

Professor Soludo reminded the people that the infrastructural developments embarked upon by his administration are courtesy of APGA government, asking them to reciprocate by supporting the party at all levels, just as he expressed optimism that the project is opening up the land not just for agriculture but a vista of Infrastructural developments.

The Commissioner for Works, Mr. Ifeanyi Okoma recalled that the road was awarded in 2017 by the previous administration, out of which only about sixteen percent was achieved, pointing out that Governor Soludo came onboard and did a full design and commenced the project.

Chief Of Staff to the Governor, Dr. Ernest Ezeajughi and the APGA Senatorial Candidate for Anambra South, Hon. Chris Azubogu appreciated the Governor for the project and pledged their unalloyed support, just as the Member representing Orumba South at the State House of Assembly, Hon Emma Nwafor and Transition Committee Chairman, Orumba South, Hon. Neville Uchendu stated that Orumba North and South are the food basket of the state, appreciating the Governor for making the election in Umuomaku possible, thereby enthroning peace in the Community.

The road stretch is sixteen point two five (16.25)km, crossing two rivers with major hydraulic structures and will be completed in ten months time.

It will have 200 millimeter or 8 inches stone base and cement stabilized and has a timeline of 20 years as guaranteed by the contractor.

Namtira Bwala has threatened to file a lawsuit against the school authorities if her abusers are not punished within 48 hours.
