 So Linus Williams (Blord) has been released from Kuje prison after fulfilling his bail conditions, finally, freedom after a few weeks in custody. However, here’s the current position of his case:  He is still expected to show up and stand his trial.  If he fails to appear in court even for one day, his bail can be revoked and a bench warrant may be issued against him, meaning a return to Kuje. If the prosecution cannot prove the charges against him, he will be discharged and acquitted. If the prosecution proves the charges, he may be sentenced and sent back to Kuje. I think he should seek a peaceful resolution to the case. Congrats to him on his freedom for now.

Conferment of National Honours, Commander of the Order of the Federal Republic (CFR), on the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Usman Alkali Baba,  psc(+), NPM, fdc, and retired IGPs - Dr Solomon E. Arase, NPM, fdc, and Mohammed A. Adamu, NPM, mni, and Member of the Order of the Federal Republic (MFR), on Deputy Inspector-General of Police, Sanusi Lemu, mni, by the President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR, today October 11, 2022, at the International Conference Center, Abuja.

In the same vein, late CSP Ibrahim O. Mohammed, CSP Benedict Okoh Ajide, Sgt Adesina Isaiah and Sgt Umar Saidu were bestowed posthumously with the National Honours of the Member of the Order of the Niger (MON)  and Federal Republic Medal (FRM) respectively.
