 PRESIDENT TINUBU CONGRATULATES MINISTER OF STATE FOR FOREIGN AFFAIRS AMBASSADOR ENIKANOLAIYE ON HIS BIRTHDAY   President Bola Tinubu has congratulated the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Sola Enikanolaiye, on his birthday.    A statement by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President, Information and Strategy, indicates that the President describes Ambassador Enikanolaiye as a distinguished diplomat, accomplished administrator and dedicated public servant whose career reflects professionalism, patriotism and a deep commitment to Nigeria.   Ambassador Enikanolaiye served in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from August 1982 to August 2017, rising through the ranks to become Permanent Secretary. Conferment of National Honours, Commander of the Order of the Federal Republic (CFR), on the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Usman Alkali Baba,  psc(+), NPM, fdc, and retired IGPs - Dr Solomon E. Arase, NPM, fdc, and Mohammed A. Adamu, NPM, mni, and Member of the Order of the Federal Republic (MFR), on Deputy Inspector-General of Police, Sanusi Lemu, mni, by the President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR, today October 11, 2022, at the International Conference Center, Abuja.

In the same vein, late CSP Ibrahim O. Mohammed, CSP Benedict Okoh Ajide, Sgt Adesina Isaiah and Sgt Umar Saidu were bestowed posthumously with the National Honours of the Member of the Order of the Niger (MON)  and Federal Republic Medal (FRM) respectively.
