 PRESIDENT TINUBU CONGRATULATES MINISTER OF STATE FOR FOREIGN AFFAIRS AMBASSADOR ENIKANOLAIYE ON HIS BIRTHDAY   President Bola Tinubu has congratulated the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Sola Enikanolaiye, on his birthday.    A statement by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President, Information and Strategy, indicates that the President describes Ambassador Enikanolaiye as a distinguished diplomat, accomplished administrator and dedicated public servant whose career reflects professionalism, patriotism and a deep commitment to Nigeria.   Ambassador Enikanolaiye served in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from August 1982 to August 2017, rising through the ranks to become Permanent Secretary.  IPOB Leader, Nnamdi Kanu Acquitted. 

The Leader of the Indigenous Peoples Of Biafra, IPOB, Maazi Nnamdi Kanu has been discharged and acquitted by the Court of Appeal sitting in Abuja.

The Court ruled among other things that Nigeria is in breach of extradition treaty and laws and have breached Kanu's fundamental human right, that the proceeding against him in the Federal High Court is tainted with illegality and that the Federal High Court breached his right to fair hearing.

In a Facebook post to confirm the ruling, his counsel, Ifeanyi Ejiofor wrote "Appeal allowed. Onyendu Mazi Nnamdi KANU, discharged and acquitted. We have won ! Victory victory victory victory"
