 DSS arrests former Oyo PMS chairman, Auxiliary The Department of State Services has reportedly arrested Mukaila Lamidi, the embattled chairman of the Oyo State Park Management System, popularly known as Auxiliary. The Auxiliary was arrested at about 4:00 pm on Tuesday at his residence in the Olodo area of Ibadan, the state capital. Although the reasons for his arrest are still sketchy, a source who spoke to our correspondent on the condition of anonymity because of the weight of the matter said it was because of an interview he granted on Saturday, May 4, in which he called out Seye Famojuro, a trusted ally of Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, for being behind his woes. In the interview he granted to Media personnel, Ajibola Akinyefa, in the Yoruba Language, the former PMS chairman said, “If he (Famojuro) is the governor or Seyi Makinde is, we will know.  IPOB Leader, Nnamdi Kanu Acquitted. 

The Leader of the Indigenous Peoples Of Biafra, IPOB, Maazi Nnamdi Kanu has been discharged and acquitted by the Court of Appeal sitting in Abuja.

The Court ruled among other things that Nigeria is in breach of extradition treaty and laws and have breached Kanu's fundamental human right, that the proceeding against him in the Federal High Court is tainted with illegality and that the Federal High Court breached his right to fair hearing.

In a Facebook post to confirm the ruling, his counsel, Ifeanyi Ejiofor wrote "Appeal allowed. Onyendu Mazi Nnamdi KANU, discharged and acquitted. We have won ! Victory victory victory victory"

Namtira Bwala has threatened to file a lawsuit against the school authorities if her abusers are not punished within 48 hours. In a letter drafted by her lawyers, Deji Adeyanju and Co, Namtira asked the school authorities to immediately investigate and pronounce the stiffest punishments in the student’s rule book on Ms.Maryam Hassan, Miss Faliya, and nine other students who bullied her.
