  A manhunt is underway for man who shot a Granite City Police Officer multiple times. Officers in Granite City, Illinois, responded to a call regarding a unwanted subject near the 2000 block of Johnson Road at 2:20 p.m. on Friday, December 5th. Upon arrival, officers attempted to make contact with the suspect. The suspect opened fire on officers before fleeing the scene.  Unfortunately, one officer was struck multiple times. The officer was rushed to a St. Louis University Hospital. He is expected to make a full recovery.  A massive manhunt is now underway to locate the suspect. Authorities warn the public that the man is considered armed and dangerous. NENE LEAKES' S SON 'BRENTT LEAKES ' RECOVERING AFTER SUFFERING A STROKE AND HEART ATTACK.(PHOTOS)

NeNe Leakes' 23-year-old son Brentt Leakes is reportedly currently recovering from a heart attack and stroke he suffered earlier this month.

Insiders have told TMZ that Leakes suffered the medical emergency in Atlanta, and was quickly taken to a hospital for treatment.

He was hospitalized for a few days but has since been released and is currently in rehab.
'Everyone is hopeful he will make a full recovery,' writes TMZ, citing sources.

NeNe has yet to address the report on her social media accounts.

Brentt is the son of Real Housewives Of Atlanta star NeNe, 54, and her late husband Gregg Leakes.

In addition to Brentt, NeNe has son Bryson Bryant from a previous relationship. Her late husband also has five other children.

NeNe and Gregg were married in in 1997. They would later get divorced in 2011, but then later reconciled and remarried.

Last year, Gregg passed away at age 66 following a four year battle with colon cancer.
