 NUT Protest : Wike Warns Against Politicising Insecurity The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has warned against politicising insecurity amid protests by the Nigeria Union of Teachers, FCT wing, over the killing and abduction of school staff and children in Oyo State. Teachers stormed the FCTA Secretariat in Abuja to condemn the killing of Michael Oyedokun and to demand the release of abducted pupils and teachers from Community High School, Ahoro-Esinle in Oriire Local Government Area. The FCT minister addressed the protesters on Tuesday, saying the federal government is on its toes working to secure the rescue of the schoolchildren and their teachers. Wike urged protesters to avoid turning the tragedy into a political issue and to give security efforts time to produce results. NIGERIAN ARMED FORCES WILL REMAIN ONE INDIVISIBLE INSTITUTION - GEN CHINADE


 
The General Officer Commanding (GOC), 2 Division Nigerian Army, Major General Aminu Chinade has affirmed that the Nigerian Armed will Forces remain one indivisible institution that will continue to collaborate, cooperate, strategies and synergise in the defence of the territorial integrity of the country.  

Major General Chinade gave the affirmation when the Commander 671 Nigerian Airforce Detachment, Ibadan, Air Commodore Babatunde Folaji, paid him a courtesy visit to further cement the already established relationship among the two Institutions.
The GOC while applauding the existing synergy and cooperation among the security agents in the Division Area of Responsibility, noted that everybody in the country looks up to the Armed Forces for security and peaceful environment, which therefore calls for more jointness, cross information and the discharge of assigned duties with utmost responsibility.

Major General Chinade pointed out that beyond the security challenges is the political activities that has kicked off in the county, which he said calls for neutrality in all ramifications on the side of members of the Armed Forces. While assuring the NAF commander of continued assistance, the GOC enjoined commanders at all levels to continuously educate their subordinates and wards on personal and environmental security.

Earlier, the Commander 671 Airforce Detachment, Air Commodore Babatunde Folaji said the detachment has and will continue to collaborate and synergise with other security agencies for a peaceful and security free environment in Oyo State.
Air Commodore Folaji expressed appreciation for the continued support and assistance enjoyed from the Division especially in the area of medical facilities. He wished the GOC a successful tour of duty.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
