 NAF INTENSIFIES AIRPOWER CAMPAIGN, STRENGTHENS AIR PRESENCE IN SOKOTO TO DENY TERRORISTS FREEDOM OF ACTION The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has intensified its airpower campaign against terrorism, banditry, kidnapping and other criminal activities across the North-West, with a strengthened air presence in Sokoto State to support ongoing joint security operations. The initiative reflects the Service’s determination to sustain pressure on hostile elements, enhance aerial surveillance and maintain the capacity for rapid response to emerging threats, while providing effective air support to ground forces operating within the Joint Operations Area. The strengthened air presence is particularly significant in the fight against asymmetric threats, where terrorists and bandits exploit difficult terrain, mobility and concealment to evade ground forces. NIGERIAN ARMED FORCES WILL REMAIN ONE INDIVISIBLE INSTITUTION - GEN CHINADE


 
The General Officer Commanding (GOC), 2 Division Nigerian Army, Major General Aminu Chinade has affirmed that the Nigerian Armed will Forces remain one indivisible institution that will continue to collaborate, cooperate, strategies and synergise in the defence of the territorial integrity of the country.  

Major General Chinade gave the affirmation when the Commander 671 Nigerian Airforce Detachment, Ibadan, Air Commodore Babatunde Folaji, paid him a courtesy visit to further cement the already established relationship among the two Institutions.
The GOC while applauding the existing synergy and cooperation among the security agents in the Division Area of Responsibility, noted that everybody in the country looks up to the Armed Forces for security and peaceful environment, which therefore calls for more jointness, cross information and the discharge of assigned duties with utmost responsibility.

Major General Chinade pointed out that beyond the security challenges is the political activities that has kicked off in the county, which he said calls for neutrality in all ramifications on the side of members of the Armed Forces. While assuring the NAF commander of continued assistance, the GOC enjoined commanders at all levels to continuously educate their subordinates and wards on personal and environmental security.

Earlier, the Commander 671 Airforce Detachment, Air Commodore Babatunde Folaji said the detachment has and will continue to collaborate and synergise with other security agencies for a peaceful and security free environment in Oyo State.
Air Commodore Folaji expressed appreciation for the continued support and assistance enjoyed from the Division especially in the area of medical facilities. He wished the GOC a successful tour of duty.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
