 A Limpopo man who stabbed his girlfriend to death in front of his own mother will spend the next 20 years in prison. The Polokwane High Court sentenced 48 year old Nathaniel Molatelo Mokgehle from Sekonye Village in the Botlokwa policing area for the murder of his girlfriend, 41 year old Mokgadi Julia Mohlaela. The court heard he chased her out of the house and continued stabbing her until she collapsed and died. Mokgehle also received six months for malicious damage to property. The sentence will run at the same time as the 20 year murder sentence. Evidence presented in court showed the victim had previously opened a malicious damage to property case against him. He was still attending court for that case when the murder happened. The attack happened on 08 June 2025 around 16:00 at his mother’s home in Sekonye Village. Obiano's Aide: Bonaventure Enemali Appointed into Advisory Panel of the United Nations

Hon. Bonaventure Enemali, the immediate past Anambra State Commissioner, has been appointed into the Advisory Panel Committee on Governance, Democracy and Electoral Process of the United Nations- International Peace and Governance Council - UN-IPGC.

Hon. Bonaventure Enemali at the time he was appointed Anambra State Commissioner for Youth by Gov Willie Obiano, was one of the youngest Commissioners in Nigeria.

His appointment into the Advisory Panel of the UN-IPGC came barely seven months of leaving office, as Anambra State Commissioner for Land. 

The appointment was conferred on Enemali, on Thursday October 27th, in Kigali, Rwanda. 
 During the event in Kigali, Bonaventure Enemali was also conferred with an award of honour as he was decorated as UN Commander of Peace - UN COP. 

The event which was attended by diplomats and UN envoys across Africa, was chaired by the UN Head of Mission, UN-IPGC in Africa; His Excellency Amb. Dr. Jonathan Ojadah
