 World’s Youngest Reigning Monarch , King Oyo, Dies at 34 King Oyo Nyimba Kabamba Iguru Rukidi IV, the traditional ruler of Uganda’s Tooro Kingdom who became the world’s youngest reigning monarch after ascending the throne at three, has died at the age of 34. The monarch reportedly died on Thursday, with the Prime Minister of the Tooro Kingdom, Calvin Armstrong Rwomiire Akiiki, announcing his death on Friday. The cause of death was not immediately disclosed. However, Ugandan media reports quoted a government minister as saying that King Oyo had been critically ill and was receiving medical treatment in the United States. Reacting to the development, Akiiki described the monarch’s death as a major loss to the royal family and the people of Tooro. He urged members of the kingdom to remain united and calm while mourning the traditional ruler. POLICE ARREST ‘ONE CHANCE’ GANG. 



Officers of Ojodu Division of the Lagos State Police Command have arrested three members of a syndicate that specialize in duping unsuspecting passengers. They are: Abiodun Bamidele ‘m’ aged 48, Olumide Faleye 'm' aged 45 and Toyin Adekoya 'f' aged 49. 

The suspects were arrested at about 1030hrs on Friday, September 23, 2022, at Omole Estate Phase 1 after their victim raised the alarm. The suspects while operating in a Toyota Camry car, with registration number KSF 608 GH, would disguise as driver and passengers, pick unsuspecting passengers, and start discussions about some dollars purportedly kept in the boot.

Investigation revealed that the gang started this crime in January. Suspects have since been arraigned.
