 ‘Friend Of A Thief Is A Thief’, Defence Minister Warns Terrorist Sponsors The Minister of Defence, General Christopher Musa (rtd), has cautioned Nigerians against aiding terrorists, insurgents, bandits, or other criminal elements, stressing that anyone who supports criminal activities will face the full weight of the law. General Musa made the warning on Saturday while speaking as the Special Guest of Honour at the Armed Forces Celebration and Remembrance Day 2026 Golf Tournament held at the TYB Golf Resort and Country Club, Yar’Adua Barracks, Abuja. Policeman Stabs Colleague To D£ath In Kebbi.

The Kebbi State Police Command says one of its operatives, ASP Shu’aibu Sani Malumfashi, pictured below, has been st*bbed to d£ath by his colleague identified as ASP Abdullahi Garba. 

Spokesperson of the command, SP Nafiu Abubakar, who disclosed this in a statement on Thursday, October 27, 2022, said the state commissioner of police, CP Kontagora has ordered thorough investigation to unravel circumstances surrounding the incident.

According to the PPRO, Garba stabbed Malumfashi with a scissors during an altercation between the duo inside fishing village area in Argungu town on October 19, 2022. 

ASP Malumfashi was rushed to a hospital in Birnin Kebbi, where a medical Doctor confirmed him d£ad.

Late Malumfashi was the Divisional Crime Officer 11 of the Argungu Divisional Police Station in Kebbi before his d£ath. 

Mr Abubakar said the erring officer was taken into police custody while the case has been referred to Homicide section for a discreet investigation.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”.
