 Russia launches massive drone and missile barrage on Ukraine, killing at least 18 civilians and striking Kyiv and multiple cities  Russia carried out a large-scale overnight assault on Ukraine, launching hundreds of drones and dozens of missiles that killed at least 18 civilians and wounded more than 100 others across multiple cities, officials said Tuesday. The strikes hit Kyiv, Dnipro and other regions, with emergency crews working through destroyed residential buildings where some victims were trapped under rubble. In Dnipro, rescuers recovered the bodies of a 3-year-old child and a mother and her 8-year-old son, while officials reported 12 deaths in the city and six in Kyiv. The bombardment stretched from night into daylight, with explosions reported across wide areas of the country. Policeman Stabs Colleague To D£ath In Kebbi.

The Kebbi State Police Command says one of its operatives, ASP Shu’aibu Sani Malumfashi, pictured below, has been st*bbed to d£ath by his colleague identified as ASP Abdullahi Garba. 

Spokesperson of the command, SP Nafiu Abubakar, who disclosed this in a statement on Thursday, October 27, 2022, said the state commissioner of police, CP Kontagora has ordered thorough investigation to unravel circumstances surrounding the incident.

According to the PPRO, Garba stabbed Malumfashi with a scissors during an altercation between the duo inside fishing village area in Argungu town on October 19, 2022. 

ASP Malumfashi was rushed to a hospital in Birnin Kebbi, where a medical Doctor confirmed him d£ad.

Late Malumfashi was the Divisional Crime Officer 11 of the Argungu Divisional Police Station in Kebbi before his d£ath. 

Mr Abubakar said the erring officer was taken into police custody while the case has been referred to Homicide section for a discreet investigation.
