 71-year-old landlord arrested for impregnating tenant’s teenage daughter The Ogun State Police Command said it had arrested a septuagenarian landlord, identified simply as Adesina, for allegedly defiling and impregnating his tenant’s 14-year-old girl (name withheld) at Akegbeyale Street in Ifesowapo Akute, Ifo Local Government Area of the state. PUNCH Metro learnt that the residents and other tenants were thrown into a state of shock when the septuagenarian suspect was found on Tuesday, April 9, 2024, having sexual intercourse with the 14-year-old girl at about 10:15 pm in the house bathroom. The minor, according to a police source who was part of the team that arrested the 71-year-old suspect but was not permitted to speak for the command, was said to have made her way to the apartment’s bathroom to take a shower. Policeman Stabs Colleague To D£ath In Kebbi.

The Kebbi State Police Command says one of its operatives, ASP Shu’aibu Sani Malumfashi, pictured below, has been st*bbed to d£ath by his colleague identified as ASP Abdullahi Garba. 

Spokesperson of the command, SP Nafiu Abubakar, who disclosed this in a statement on Thursday, October 27, 2022, said the state commissioner of police, CP Kontagora has ordered thorough investigation to unravel circumstances surrounding the incident.

According to the PPRO, Garba stabbed Malumfashi with a scissors during an altercation between the duo inside fishing village area in Argungu town on October 19, 2022. 

ASP Malumfashi was rushed to a hospital in Birnin Kebbi, where a medical Doctor confirmed him d£ad.

Late Malumfashi was the Divisional Crime Officer 11 of the Argungu Divisional Police Station in Kebbi before his d£ath. 

Mr Abubakar said the erring officer was taken into police custody while the case has been referred to Homicide section for a discreet investigation.
