 Nigerian man takes up the challenge to be bur!ed alive for 24hours A Nigerian man who identifies as Young C has embarked on a challenge to be buried alive in a coffin for 24 hours.  He made this known in a series of posts on his Instagram page on Wednesday,  stating that the stunt was genuine and not a hoax.  He announced his intention to broadcast live footage from the coffin at night. Sharing a video on his Instagram account on Wednesday, he said, "I am going to be spending the next 24 hours buried in this casket. Guys, this is real, not fake.  "And the most amazing part is that I am going to go live by night." In a subsequent update, Young C revealed that he had been buried for over 8 hours and was experiencing physical discomfort, including excessive sweating. In an update on Wednesday evening, he said in part, "Guys, I have been buried alive for over 8 hours now. For those of you who saw my first video, I have been down here. SECURITY: Governor Bello Flags Off Exercise Enduring Peace II 

Governor of Kogi State, His Excellency Yahaya Bello on Tuesday flagged off “Exercise Enduring Peace II” at Owunoh community along Ajaokuta-Okene road, Okene Local Government of the state. 

Governor Bello assured the commander and personnel of “Exercise Enduring Peace” of his administration’s support in ensuring a successful operation. He charged the personnel to treat criminals with equal punishment without gender, religious and party discrimination. 

During the ceremony, Governor Bello commended President Muhammadu Buhari for his support for the Nigerian Armed Forces in achieving a lasting peace for the country. 

Bello also extended his commendation to the Chief of Army Staff , Lieutenant General Farouk Yahaya, heads and personnel of other security agencies for their efforts in securing the nation. 

During the ceremony, the representative of the Chief of Army Staff and Commander, Command Army Records, Chari Maigumeri Barracks, Major General Sunday I. Igbinomwanhia disclosed that the exercise was to consolidate and build on the existing peace in the state. While seeking further cooperation from the people, Major General I. Igbinomwanhia commended Governor Bello for been ruthless to the criminals in the state with assurances of sustaining the onslaught against enemies of the state in whatever names. 

Exercise Enduring Peace II is a joint task force comprises of the Army, Naval, Police, Civil Defence, Immigration, Customs and vigilante personnel.

Namtira Bwala has threatened to file a lawsuit against the school authorities if her abusers are not punished within 48 hours. In a letter drafted by her lawyers, Deji Adeyanju and Co, Namtira asked the school authorities to immediately investigate and pronounce the stiffest punishments in the student’s rule book on Ms.Maryam Hassan, Miss Faliya, and nine other students who bullied her.
