 Otti Slams Julius Abure Over Continued Sale of Labour Party Nomination Forms Abia State Governor, Dr. Alex Otti, has strongly criticised the former National Chairman of the Labour Party (LP), Julius Abure, for proceeding with the sale of governorship nomination forms despite opposition from the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and subsisting court rulings. The criticism follows a viral photograph showing Abure presenting a Labour Party nomination form to a former National Vice Chairman of the party, Ceekay Igara, in the company of other party members. P&ID Scam: EFCC Arraigns Ex-Lagos Attorney-General, Shasore For Alleged $200,000 Bribe

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, on Friday, October 21, 2022, arraigned a former Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice, Lagos State, Olasupo Shasore, SAN, on a two-count charge allegedly bordering on corrupt offers of $200,000 to public officers, before Justice Mojisola Dada of the Special Offences Court sitting in Ikeja, Lagos.

The offence is contrary to and punishable under Section 9(1) (a) of the Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Act 2000.
