DANIEL DAGA HAS BEEN SENTENCED TO SIX MONTHS IN PRISON BY A NORWEGIAN COURT AFTER BEING FOUND GUILTY OF COMMITTING A SEXUAL ACT WITHOUT CONSENT.(PHOTO).

  🇳🇴 Daniel Daga Sentenced by Norwegian Court, Appeals Verdict Molde FK midfielder Daniel Daga has been sentenced to six months in prison by a Norwegian court after being found guilty of committing a sexual act without consent. The Nigerian midfielder joined Molde FK from Enyimba just a year ago as one of the promising young talents to move from the NPFL to Europe. However, Daga has appealed the ruling through his lawyer, meaning the decision is not yet legally final and the case will continue through the Norwegian judicial system. Molde FK have also confirmed that the midfielder will not be included in the club’s matchday squad until further notice while the legal process continues.

Zamfara Police Command repels bandit attack, rescues one year old baby 


As CP Reassures the command's  commitment to Restore Peace and Security in Zamfara State.


The ongoing commitment of the Police and other security agencies to fight insecurity to a stand still in Zamfara state is yielding positive results, as Zamfara Police Command under the stewardship of CP Kolo Yusuf psc, recorded another landmark achievement as follows:


Between Friday 28th to Sunday 30th October, 2022, the Command received intelligence report on Bandits Plan to attack some villages in Bukkuyum, Tsafe, Bungudu, Gusau and Maru LGAs  for abduction. On spur of the moment, Police Tactical Operatives in Conjunction with the Vigilante embarked on rigorous patrol thereby repelling the Planned attacks and further sustained confidence building patrol to avert any threat on such communities.


In a similar development, the collaborative effort of the Police and vigilante led to the rescue of Four (4) Kidnapped victims, including a 1Year old child. The rescue of the victims was sequel to the  report received by the Police on the abduction of the victims, where a search and rescue operation was carried out and the victims were successfully rescued unhurt. 


In the course of debriefing, the victims informed the Police that, On 14th October, 2022, Bandits in their large number invaded  Kuraje village in Gusau LGA and abducted four of them to MUNHAYE forest in Tsafe LGA where they spent 15 days in captivity. The victims were taken to Police Clinic for medical check and later reunited with their families. 


The Commissioner of Police while reassuring the public on the command's commitment to restoring peace and security in the state, congratulates the victims for regaining their freedom and urges all and sundry to be security conscious and report suspicious  movement to the Police or any security Agency for prompt action.
