 71-year-old landlord arrested for impregnating tenant’s teenage daughter The Ogun State Police Command said it had arrested a septuagenarian landlord, identified simply as Adesina, for allegedly defiling and impregnating his tenant’s 14-year-old girl (name withheld) at Akegbeyale Street in Ifesowapo Akute, Ifo Local Government Area of the state. PUNCH Metro learnt that the residents and other tenants were thrown into a state of shock when the septuagenarian suspect was found on Tuesday, April 9, 2024, having sexual intercourse with the 14-year-old girl at about 10:15 pm in the house bathroom. The minor, according to a police source who was part of the team that arrested the 71-year-old suspect but was not permitted to speak for the command, was said to have made her way to the apartment’s bathroom to take a shower. IMO STATE GOVERNMENT SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT

The Executive Governor of imo state, His Excellency, Senator Hope Uzodimma has approved the immediate removal of Prof Patrick Egbule as the Acting Vice Chancellor of imo state University of Agriculture and Environmental Sciences,Umuagwo.

Consequently, in accordance with the law establishing the university, His Excellency has approved the immediate appointment of Prof Christopher Chiedozie Eze as the Acting Vice Chancellor of imo state University of Agriculture and Environmental Sciences, Umuagwo.

While His Excellency wishes the former acting Vice Chancellor well in his future endeavours, he charges the Acting Vice Chancellor, Prof Chiedozie Eze to apply himself to the highest standards in the administration of the young institution.

Namtira Bwala has threatened to file a lawsuit against the school authorities if her abusers are not punished within 48 hours. In a letter drafted by her lawyers, Deji Adeyanju and Co, Namtira asked the school authorities to immediately investigate and pronounce the stiffest punishments in the student’s rule book on Ms.Maryam Hassan, Miss Faliya, and nine other students who bullied her.
