 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. I HAD TO PAY N25,200 - BENUE MAN LAMENTS BITTERLY AFTER GUESTS STOLE CHAIRS HE HIRED FOR HIS MOTHER'S BURIAL



A young Nigerian man, identified as Udam Samuel Aseer, has taken to social media to lament bitterly after some of the chairs he rented for his mother’s burial were stolen by some guests.

The Benue-based man said he had to pay an extra fee of N25,200 after seven of the chairs he rented were stolen at the venue of the event, which was held on Saturday, November 12, 2022.

“You attended My Mum’s burial & stole 7 Chairs I hired, leaving me to pay 25,200 (3,600 each)” he wrote on Monday. I have been in the village since yesterday over this & no solution. I had to pay as one of the terms & conditions given by chairs owners as agreed,” the disgruntled man wrote.
