 South Africa’s Constitutional Court rules that Jacob Zuma is not eligible to run for public office in the May 29 general election. As a result, Jacob Zuma’s name will be removed from the MK list of candidates standing in the elections. Zuma will now use the martyr card, which might energise his base to go out and vote for his party.

Labour Party Women Leader Assassinated In Kaduna

The Southern Kaduna(Zone 3) Labour party family, Commiserate with the Chairman and exco's of Kaura local government Labour party over the untimely demised of our Mother, Sister Mrs Victoria Chintex Woman leader, Kaura local government who's sad event took place yesterday by some unknown gun men in her resident in kaura.

It saddens our hearts that such an industrious, hard working and dedicated woman leader was kill when the families of Labour party from the local government, Zonal and the state needed her the most at this critical times that Nigerians are quest for a new Nigeria through Labour party.

Similarly the Zonal leadership of Labour party in Zone 3, are bereaved at this moment, we are calling on all the members of Labour party from each polling units , wards , local government, Zonal, state and the National, to pray along with us at this critical time.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up. Namtira Bwala has threatened to file a lawsuit against the school authorities if her abusers are not punished within 48 hours. In a letter drafted by her lawyers, Deji Adeyanju and Co, Namtira asked the school authorities to immediately investigate and pronounce the stiffest punishments in the student’s rule book on Ms.Maryam Hassan, Miss Faliya, and nine other students who bullied her.
