The General Manager of the LASURA, Ms. Ajibike Shomade disclosed this during the working visit of the State Commissioner for Physical Planning and Urban Development, Engr. Tayo Bamgbose-Martins to the Agency, recently.

She stated that there is an ongoing plan to redevelop the whole of the Agency's complex into an iconic twin-tower edifice of 13 floors which will serve as the Corporate Headquarters for LASURA.

Her words: “The planned redevelopment of the LASURA Corporate Headquarters, which will occupy 20,000 square metres, will birth a twin-tower 13-floor edifice. The completion of the structure will accelerate our efforts to provide leadership in urban renewal and set the right direction for the future".

She stated further that LASURA has significantly transformed its operations since the inception of the administration of Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu whose priority for the built environment and urban renewal is unparalleled and indicative of Mr. Governor’s resolve to achieve a 21st Century Economy in line with the T.H.E.M.E.S development agenda of the State Government.
