 Texas woman charged with medical child abuse for falsifying toddler’s health and pushing unnecessary feeding tube surgeries A Texas woman has been charged with medical child abuse after allegedly falsifying her toddler’s medical history to pressure doctors into performing unnecessary procedures, including feeding tube surgeries, in what authorities are calling a “sickening” case. Kaitlyn Rose Laura, 31, faces charges of injury to a child and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Officials said she deliberately misled medical staff about her 3-year-old son’s health to obtain a gastrostomy tube and later a gastrojejunostomy tube, despite no documented medical need. Investigators allege that hospital staff observed the boy eating normally while Laura claimed he refused all food. Covert surveillance confirmed the child was able to eat meals without difficulty, prompting authorities to stop tube feedings. NATIVE DOCTOR KILLED 3-YEAR-OLD CO TENANT IN OGUN STATE.

A native doctor, Idowu Talabi, was on Sunday 27th of November 2022, arrested  by men of Ogun state Police Command for killing his 30 years old co- tenant, Isau Oluwatobiloba.

The suspect was arrested following a report lodged at Ikenne divisional headquarters by the wife of the deceased, who reported that she returned from Church vigil at about 6:00 am only to discover the lifeless body of her husband lying in the pool of his own blood in their house at No 4, Best way Moro street Ikenne, having been matcheted to death by an unknown person. 

Upon the report, the DPO Ikenne division, CSP Ibrahim Ningi, led his detectives to the scene, where it was discovered that the deceased was matcheted to death while sleeping on his bed. It was also discovered that there was no break-in at the scene and nothing was removed from the room. 

These discovery pointed to the fact that the killing was carried out by an insider, hence all the occupants of the house were invited to the station for interrogation. After a thorough investigation, Idowu Talabi, who claimed to be a native doctor confessed been the person who killed the deceased. 

When asked the reason for the dastardly act, the suspect alleged that the deceased was fond of accusing him of stealing, and that was what infuriated him to machet him to death when he discovered that the deceased was alone at home sleeping. The cutlass he used to commit the crime has since been recovered from him.

Meanwhile, the Commissioner of Police, CP Lanre S. Bankole, has ordered the immediate transfer of the suspect to the Homicide section of the State criminal investigation department for further investigation and prosecution.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity.
