 Nicole Kidman recalls the heartbreaking moment she found out her mom died Nicole Kidman has opened up about the heartbreaking moment she learned of her mother Janelle’s death just as she was about to accept a best actress award at the Venice International Film Festival.  The Babygirl star recalled being backstage when she received the news, saying she returned to her room “completely devastated” and unsure how she would move forward without her mother, who had been such a central part of her life. She described the “harrowing” attempt to leave Venice in the middle of the night to return to Australia, only to turn back, overwhelmed and alone.  Director Halina Reijn later read a statement on Kidman’s behalf, dedicating the award to Janelle and acknowledging the collision of art and life in that painful moment. Spanish Ambassador Seeks  Better Synergy With Nigeria Customs Service 

The Nigeria Customs Service recently played host to Juan Ignacio Sell Sanz, the Spanish Ambassador to Nigeria at the Customs Headquarters,  Abuja.

Juan Ignacio applauded the recently concluded training on the Revised Arusha Declaration held in Nigeria. 

He also appreciated the World Customs Organisation initiative for including a resource person from the Spanish Customs Authority. 

The CGC Col. Hameed Ali (rtd) appreciated the visit and also extended gratitude for the resource person's effort in instilling knowledge to the Officers and Men of the Nigeria Customs Service.

The Ambassador was presented with a souvenir to cement his visit to the Nigeria Customs Service,  "This will be the start of a mutually beneficial relationship." The CGC reiterated.
