 Military judge suppresses Khalid Sheikh Mohammed’s FBI confession in 9/11 case A military judge has excluded a confession that alleged Sept. 11 attacks mastermind Khalid Sheikh Mohammed gave to FBI agents nearly 20 years ago, ruling that the statements were not made voluntarily. The decision is a setback for the U.S. government's long-running effort to prosecute Mohammed, who is accused of helping develop the plot to hijack planes and crash them into the World Trade Center and Pentagon. Mohammed remains detained at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, alongside other defendants awaiting trial. Lt. Col. Michael Schrama, the judge overseeing the case, scheduled a June 2028 trial for Mohammed and three other defendants earlier this week. In an order issued Friday that has not been made public, Schrama barred prosecutors from using statements Mohammed made during four days of FBI questioning at Guantanamo in January 2007. THEATRE COMMANDER SYMPATHIZES WITH HUMANITARIAN AGENCIES IN THE NORTH EAST


The Theatre Commander, Major General  CG Musa on Friday 18 November 2022, on behalf of the officers and men of Joint Task Force (NE) Operation HADIN KAI, expressed sincere condolence to the representatives of the Non- Governmental Organizations in the North East (NE) Mr Trond Jenson Head of Office OCHA- Nigeria and his team over the loss of one of their staff who was shot by a soldier and for the injury sustained by the co-pilot.

Maj Gen CG Musa also relayed  condolence messages from the CDS and the Service Chiefs after which a minute silence was observed in honour of the deceased. The TC assured the officials that the MP has commenced investigation to unravel the circumstances with the promise that they would be carried along throughout the process. He then requested they extend the condolence message to the family of the deceased.

The team appreaciated the prompt response by the troops on ground for their prompt response and for the immediate medical attention offered to the co-pilot including the recovery of the corpses to Maiduguri for further necessary action. Additionally, the team leader thanked the Theatre for reaching out to them as soon as the incident occurred and disclosed that the co-pilot involved in the incident is rapidly responding to treatment at the hospital.  

Relatedly, the two parties agreed that the sad incident will not affect the cooperation, support and harmonious relationship existing between them. The meeting was held at the Command Guest House Maiduguri.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
