 Trump administration halts border wall well drilling in New Mexico after ranchers raise water concerns  The Trump administration has ordered contractors building a border wall in New Mexico to stop drilling new wells after ranchers raised concerns that groundwater pumping for construction could worsen drought conditions and threaten their livestock. The move comes as crews work to expand border barriers across four states as part of President Donald Trump’s immigration agenda. The project has received billions in federal funding and has faced criticism from residents, environmental groups and local officials over various impacts. U.S. Customs and Border Protection, which oversees construction, has said water is needed for concrete production, road construction and controlling dust. 2023: Miyetti Allah Set To Endorse Tinubu, Governor Sule

The Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore Fulani Sociocultural Association has announced its plans to officially endorse the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2023 election. 

In a statement issued on Friday by its president, Alhaji Abdullahi Bello Bodejo, the association said it would also endorse Governor Abdullahi A. Sule of Nasarawa State who is seeking second term on the platform of APC. 

The endorsement according to Bodejo would hold on December 30 at the Lafia Square by 11:00am during the association's National Peace rally. 

He invites all members of the association to attend the event themed: 'Mobilizing Fulani Pastoralists Towards Successful 2023 General Elections'.
