 Dutch referee Rob Dieperink dies weeks after removal from World Cup officiating list Dutch referee Rob Dieperink has died at the age of 38, weeks after FIFA removed him from its list of officials for the World Cup. The Dutch Football Association (KNVB) confirmed his death in a statement, saying it was “shocked and deeply saddened” by the news. His cause of death has not been disclosed. Dieperink was arrested in April by the Metropolitan Police in the United Kingdom following a report of an alleged sexual assault involving a teenage boy in London. A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said officers responded on April 9 to a report of sexual assault at an address in Croydon and arrested a man in his 30s on suspicion of the offence. Police later said that after reviewing available evidence, including CCTV footage and digital devices, the investigation had concluded that “the evidential threshold had not been met” and no further action would be taken. Anambra State Government Presents Certificate of Recognition To The Traditional Ruler Of Umuomaku
 

....charges him to use the Throne and unify the Community

Today, The Governor of Anambra State Prof Chukwuma Soludo presented a Certificate of Recognition to HRH Igwe Livinus Obinna Ezenwa, Onunekwulu Ora ll of Umuomaku, as the new traditional ruler of Umuomaku Community in Orumba South L.G.A of the State. The Governor in his remarks during the event which took place at Exco Chamber Government House Awka, charged the monarch to use his position to unify the community so as to build and sustain peace in the community and beyond.

He also commended the Commissioner for Local Government, Chieftaincy and community affairs, Hon. Tonycollins Nwabunwanne for his efforts towards ensuring that peace is being restored in the community and other communities in the State.

It could be recalled that, after several reconciliatory meeting to end the conflict which rocked the community in the past and kept them without a traditional for years, but with the effort of Mr Commissioner, the people of Umuomaku Community, on 24th Day of September 2022, following a Free and Fair Election Supervised by the Anambra State Ministry of Local Government, Chieftaincy and Community Affairs, elected Chief Livinus Obinna Ezenwa as their Traditional.

The Event was graced by some personalities in the state.
