 Russia launches massive drone and missile barrage on Ukraine, killing at least 18 civilians and striking Kyiv and multiple cities  Russia carried out a large-scale overnight assault on Ukraine, launching hundreds of drones and dozens of missiles that killed at least 18 civilians and wounded more than 100 others across multiple cities, officials said Tuesday. The strikes hit Kyiv, Dnipro and other regions, with emergency crews working through destroyed residential buildings where some victims were trapped under rubble. In Dnipro, rescuers recovered the bodies of a 3-year-old child and a mother and her 8-year-old son, while officials reported 12 deaths in the city and six in Kyiv. The bombardment stretched from night into daylight, with explosions reported across wide areas of the country. ANAMBRA STATE GOVERNMENT RESTORES PEACE IN IGBAKWU COMMUNITY. 


The Commissioner for Local Government, Chieftaincy and Community Affairs - Hon Tonycollins Nwabunwanne  invited the village leaders and stakeholders of Igbakwu Community in Ayamelum L.G.A for reconciliatory meetings.

Resolutions reached include the following:

i. Igbakwu Town Union Constitution is still very much intact and still a working document with the government. 
That a section of the constitution is a subject of litigation does not invalidate the said constitution. Unless the court says otherwise since it is already in court.

ii.Traditional Rulers are not part of the Town Union and should desist from interfering in town union activities. 

iii. It is also overwhelmingly and unanimously agreed that it is the turn of Eriator Village to produce the next President General of Igbakwu Town Union and they should be allowed to do so without further interference from any quarters. 

iv. The Igbakwu Town Union Election has been fixed and published to hold on 30th of December 2022 in Igbakwu Town.
