  Chikun/Kajuru Rep, Hon. Fidelix Bagudu, Announces New Appointments To Strengthen Inclusive Governance The Honourable Member representing the Chikun/Kajuru Federal Constituency, Hon. Fidelix Joseph Bagudu, has announced a wide-ranging list of new appointments aimed at deepening inclusive governance and enhancing representation across the constituency. The appointments, which take immediate effect, were unveiled in alignment with Kaduna State Governor Senator Uba Sani’s commitment to participatory governance. According to the lawmaker’s office, the list reflects deliberate efforts to ensure fair representation of all wards, communities, and interest groups across Chikun and Kajuru Local Government Areas (LGAs). A statement issued by the Media and Publicity Directorate noted that the move also fulfills the Honourable Member’s campaign pledge to integrate every segment of the constituency into the decision-making and governance structure. ANAMBRA STATE GOVERNMENT RESTORES PEACE IN IGBAKWU COMMUNITY. 


The Commissioner for Local Government, Chieftaincy and Community Affairs - Hon Tonycollins Nwabunwanne  invited the village leaders and stakeholders of Igbakwu Community in Ayamelum L.G.A for reconciliatory meetings.

Resolutions reached include the following:

i. Igbakwu Town Union Constitution is still very much intact and still a working document with the government. 
That a section of the constitution is a subject of litigation does not invalidate the said constitution. Unless the court says otherwise since it is already in court.

ii.Traditional Rulers are not part of the Town Union and should desist from interfering in town union activities. 

iii. It is also overwhelmingly and unanimously agreed that it is the turn of Eriator Village to produce the next President General of Igbakwu Town Union and they should be allowed to do so without further interference from any quarters. 

iv. The Igbakwu Town Union Election has been fixed and published to hold on 30th of December 2022 in Igbakwu Town.
