 Russia launches massive drone and missile barrage on Ukraine, killing at least 18 civilians and striking Kyiv and multiple cities  Russia carried out a large-scale overnight assault on Ukraine, launching hundreds of drones and dozens of missiles that killed at least 18 civilians and wounded more than 100 others across multiple cities, officials said Tuesday. The strikes hit Kyiv, Dnipro and other regions, with emergency crews working through destroyed residential buildings where some victims were trapped under rubble. In Dnipro, rescuers recovered the bodies of a 3-year-old child and a mother and her 8-year-old son, while officials reported 12 deaths in the city and six in Kyiv. The bombardment stretched from night into daylight, with explosions reported across wide areas of the country. ASWAMA FIXES FRESHDATE FOR DECEMBER SANITATION EXERCISE IN ANAMBRA.(PHOTOS).



ASWAMA Fixes Fresh Date For December Sanitation Exercise In Anambra.



The Anambra State Waste Management Authority, ASWAMA, has said that this month's sanitation exercise will now hold on Saturday, December 17, 2022 from 7am to 10am, in order to prepare the state's environment for the christmas and year festivities.

According to a release signed by the Managing Director of ASWAMA, Mr Mike Ozoemena, all residents of Anambra are encouraged to participate fully in the exercise by cleaning their surroundings and desillting all water channels.

The statement noted that all forms of human or vehicular movements are prohibited within the hours of the exercise as offenders will be apprehended and sanctioned accordingly.

It further reminded Ndi Anambra of the state government's policy on door to door collection of refuse and enjoined everyone to neatly bag their wastes and leave them in front of their homes for adequate disposal by the state waste management body.
