 GOVERNOR ABBA  YUSUF SACKS  KANO STATE HEAD OF SERVICE   The Executive Governor of Kano State, Abba Kabir Yusuf, has relieved the State Head of Service, Abdullahi Musa, of his appointment with immediate effect. In a statement  by the Director General, Media and Publicity to the Governor, Sunusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, the decision is part of the ongoing efforts by the present administration to reposition the state civil service for greater efficiency, discipline, and improved service delivery across all government institutions. Governor Yusuf expressed appreciation to the outgoing Head of Service for his contributions and dedication to the service of the State  The statement further directed that Bilkisu Shehu Maimota, the Permanent Secretary, Admin and General Services at the Cabinet Office, to serve in an  acting capacity pending the appointment of a substantive Head of Service. Unfortunate news surfaced Wednesday morning regarding the passing of DJ Stephen 'tWitch’ Boss, the famed DJ from Ellen Degeneris’ talk show, “Ellen.”

Sources say Stephen’s wife, Allison, frantically ran into an LAPD station on Tuesday, concerned for Stephen after he allegedly left their home without his car, something she found odd. Shortly after her report, LAPD received a call about a shooting at an L.A. hotel, where Stephen was found dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Stephen began DJ’ing on “Ellen” back in 2014 until the show ended earlier this year. Back in September, he told media outlets that he was happy with life after the show and was able to spend more time with his family. Stephen, who was 40 years old, is survived by his wife, Allison, and their three children. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends.
