I'M DETERMINED TO RECOVER IMO STATE - GOV. UZODIMMA

"I am determined to recover Imo State and the pains of yesteryears should be likened to the Egyptians which we shall see no more".

This is according to The Imo State Governor, Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma who was speaking at the Thanksgiving service of the Imo State House of Assembly Speaker, Rt. Hon. Emeka Nduka at St. Theresa Catholic Church, Umuoma, Ehime-Mbano.

While recalling the absence of infrastructure under past administrations, the Governor disclosed that the Shared Prosperity Government had to rehabilitate, reconstruct and recover Imo State.

The Governor further stated that with the limited resources of the State, the Owerri-Okigwe, Owerri-Orlu, and Owerri-Umuahia roads are some of the assets which needed urgent attention to help stimulate the state's economy.

He enjoined everyone to show commitment to the development of our State irrespective of the party and rise to condemn acts that don't represent the interest of Ndi Imo.

He yet again warned against acts that sabotage the interest of the people's development such as the kidnapping of contractors and stopping road construction.

Governor Uzodimma assured the people of Ehime-Mbano and other rural areas of more developments that will improve their communities and roll out hardship from their lands.
