 Russia launches massive drone and missile barrage on Ukraine, killing at least 18 civilians and striking Kyiv and multiple cities  Russia carried out a large-scale overnight assault on Ukraine, launching hundreds of drones and dozens of missiles that killed at least 18 civilians and wounded more than 100 others across multiple cities, officials said Tuesday. The strikes hit Kyiv, Dnipro and other regions, with emergency crews working through destroyed residential buildings where some victims were trapped under rubble. In Dnipro, rescuers recovered the bodies of a 3-year-old child and a mother and her 8-year-old son, while officials reported 12 deaths in the city and six in Kyiv. The bombardment stretched from night into daylight, with explosions reported across wide areas of the country. NBA Onitsha Wraps Up 2022 Law Week



The Nigerian Bar Association, NBA, Onitsha Branch has wrapped up its 2022 Law Week with a thanksgiving mass at the Basilica of the Most Holy Trinity, Onitsha 

The 2022 Law week with the theme: The Nigerian Lawyer: Overcoming Challenges To Successful Legal Practice in Fast Changing Socio-Political Economy, kicked off on Wednesday 6th December 2022 with activities such as Prison Visit, Football Competition, Lectures, Visit to the Sick and Elderly Lawyers, Cocktail and Dinner Night among others.

Addressing the Lawyers at the Sir Loius Mbanefo Bar Centre, High Court Premises Onitsha, the Chief Judge of Anambra State, Justice Onochie Anyachebelu charged them to make integrity their watch word in the profession.

Speaking to the ABS in an interview, the Branch Chairman, Mazi Uba. and a Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Mr Onyechi Ononye while appreciating God for a successful Bar Week., said one of the issues discussed was how to improve the legal system.

They pointed out that the number of Senior Advocates produced from the Branch this year is a clear testimony of the robust nature of Legal practice, East of the Niger.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
