 Chawai Community Appeals To Gov. Uba Sani For Relief, Medical Support After Deadly Kauru Attack The people of Chawai Chiefdom in Kauru Local Government Area of Kaduna State have appealed to Governor Uba Sani to provide urgent relief and medical assistance to victims of the deadly attack on Naridon village in Kamaru Ward. In an open letter addressed to the governor, the community commended his leadership, describing his administration as inclusive and fair. They said this had given residents confidence that every community in the state is valued. The community, however, expressed concern over what it described as the lack of government intervention following the attack on Naridon village, in which it said 30 people were killed. According to the letter, many survivors and families of the victims are still struggling with grief, trauma, displacement, and the challenges of caring for those injured in the attack. Yahoo School Proprietor, 13 'Students' in EFCC’s Net in Benin

Operatives of the Benin Zonal Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC today, December 15, 2022 arrested Ese Isaiah, proprietor of a ‘Yahoo School’, and 13 of his 'students'.

The suspects are Alex Aimuanosa, Jeremiah Umoru, Destiny Aghayere, Christian Oghenekevwe, Wisdom Christopher, Daniel Matthew and Gift Patrick

Others are Lucky Paul, Godspower Osatuohien, Edafe Isaiah, John Elvis, Favour Oseghale and Osas Egho

They were arrested in Benin City based on intelligence on their alleged activities.

 Items recovered from the suspects include mobile phones, laptops and a Lexus ES350. 

They have made useful statements and will be charged to court as soon as the investigations are concluded.
