 CSO/MEDIA REVIEW: HEALTH MINISTER PATE SCORES FG HIGH  ON HEALTH SECTOR REFORMS The Coordinating Minister of Health and Social Welfare, Prof. Muhammad Ali Pate, says civil society organisations play a critical role in strengthening Nigeria’s health system by providing feedback, identifying gaps and helping government translate policies into programmes that improve lives. The CSO/Media-Led Mid-Year Review of Nigeria’s Health Sector Reforms and Policy Dialogue on Monday, Prof. Pate stressed the need for sustained engagement between government, civil society and other stakeholders to achieve better health outcomes. The Minister said the Federal Government, under President Bola Tinubu, recognises that rebuilding the health system after years of underinvestment will take time. ADAMAWA CP TASKED 431 NEWLY PASSED OUT CONSTABLES TO ENSURE COMMUNITY SAFETY AND SHUN CORRUPT PRACTICES


Adamawa State Commissioner of Police CP, SK Akande, has tasked about 431 newly passed out Constables to strive towards ensuring safety of communities as well as shun all corrupt practices.

Addressing cross section of the Constables at the Police Headquaters on the 23th January, 2023, the Police Boss urged them to be committed towards upholding professionalism.

CP Akande, urged the deployed Constables to various Divisional Headquaters across the State to be good ambassadors of their families, Adamawa State and Nigeria Police Force as a whole.

Their deployment is in-line with the Community Policing Policy of the Federal Government of Nigeria and Inspector General of Police (IGP) Usman Alkali Baba, psc(+),NPM ,NEAPS, CFR.

The CP while wishing the Newly passed out Constables a successful Carrier, he further urged them to be straight forward, God fearing and be nice in their policing approach to foster community safety.
