 There was no evidence that he slept with the girl” – Yomi Fabiyi gives update on Baba Ijesha’s case Nollywood actor Yomi Fabiyi has given an update on embattled Yoruba actor Baba Ijesha’s case. Refreshing your memory, Baba Ijesha was arrested and sentenced to 5 years imprisonment for raping a minor, who is the adopted daughter of comedian Princess. Giving an update on the case in a recent interview, he said Baba Ijesha’s appeal process is still ongoing in court. He claimed that there was no evidence that he slept with the hole; hence, the judge didn’t sentence him to life imprisonment. Yomi stated that Princess called Baba Ijesha to shoot a skit, and the girl also made a similar statement in court. ACTDA Boss, Onuko Cautions Developers Against Building Without Approval




The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Awka Capital Territory Development Authority (ACTDA), Mr. Ossy Onuko has cautioned land developers within the capital territory not to embark on any construction without getting appropriate approvals from the agency.


Mr. Onuko who stated this while speaking to the ABS in his office in Awka noted that ACTDA will not hesitate to remove any building that was built without approval.


He maintained that the agency under his watch will continue to deliver on the mandate envisaged before creating it and made it clear that no amount of pressure from any quarter will make ACTDA to compromise.


Mr. Onuko equally advised those trading along roads within the jurisdiction of the agency to stop forthwith or face the wrath of ACTDA, even as he warned those pasting posters on the flyovers in Awka to desist from such ugly behaviour.


According to the ACTDA Managing Director, his team will continue with all the Projects they embarked upon last year like operation zero potholes, clean and green initiative, removal of illegal structures among others.


The ACTDA Managing Director urged Ndi Anambra to keep supporting the Governor Chukwuma Soludo led administration for a prosperous and liveable homeland.


He further warned all the staff of the agency to always be professional in the discharge of their duties as anyone found wanting under any guise would be penalized accordingly to serve as a deterrent to others.
