 Anambra Govt Warns Against Purchase of Encroached Land at Trans-Nkissi By MaryAnn Chukwuma The Anambra State Ministry of Lands has warned members of the public against purchasing plots at TransNkissi Phase 1, behind the Federal Government Girls College, Onitsha, from persons claiming ownership on behalf of the Umuosodi family of Onitsha. The warning was contained in a public notice dated Sept. 28, 2026, with Ref. No. PS/ML/2026/CR/VOL.II/028 and signed by the Permanent Secretary, Mrs Nkeiru Mokwe, for the Commissioner. According to the notice, the Ministry became aware that persons alleged to be members of the Umuosodi family had invaded and commenced clearing portions of the land with the intention of selling them to unsuspecting members of the public. It said compensatory plots had been allocated to the family and other families in Onitsha before the current administration. El-Rufai Commends NAF For Improved Security In Kaduna

Governor Nasir el-Rufai of Kaduna State has commended the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) for its efforts in restoration of relative peace in the state.  

Speaking yesterday  when he paid a courtesy visit to the Chief of the Air Staff (CAS), Air Marshal Oladayo Amao in his office at Headquarters NAF, Abuja, El-Rufai expressed gratitude of the people of Kaduna State to the CAS for improved security situation in the state.

In a statement by the Director of Public Relations and Information (DOPRI) Air Cdre Wap Maigida,  the governor disclosed that in the last three months, there had been a significant improvement in the security situation in the state, as several  terrorists’ commanders have been neutralized by the NAF while the remnants have relocated from the state.

“On behalf of the government and people of Kaduna State, I came to thank the Chief of the Air Staff, Branch Chiefs, Air Officers Commanding, officers and men of the Nigerian Air Force for the excellent work done and still being done in Kaduna State. The security situation in our state and environs has improved drastically. Please keep up the excellent work,” he said.

In his response, Air Marshal Amao thanked the governor for the visit as well as the support and cooperation the NAF has been receiving from the government and people of Kaduna State in tackling the security challenges in the entire North West region.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
