 LASG PRESENTS STAFF OF OFFICE TO NEW ONIȘẸ OF ISE KINGDOM The Lagos State Government has presented the Staff of Office and Instrument of Appointment to Prince Ibrahim Adebowale Saliu, as His Royal Majesty, Alaiyeluwa Oba Ibrahim Adebowale Saliu, the Onise of Ise Kingdom in Lekki Local Government Area. The presentation was performed on Friday, August 21, 2026, by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Rural Development, Dr. Nurudeen Yekinni Agbaje, alongside the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Local Government, Chieftaincy Affairs and Rural Development, Mrs. Kikelomo Bolarinwa, with the approval of the Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu and the Lagos State Executive Council, following the demise of the late Oba Ganiu Adebowale Adegbesan, Onise of Ise Kingdom.  Governor Sule Confirms Bomb Blast At Nasarawa, Benue Border Community

“It has to do with some Fulani who got to rescue their cows and after rescuing the cows, there was a bomb blast at the area where they gathered cows to bring them back to Nasarawa State.

 

“As a result of that, I have been on it all night, trying to solve the matter, Chief of Defence Staff, Miyetti Allah, all the security agents including our commissioner of police. 


“Our deputy commissioners are on their way to Doma, to ensure that we continue to down the tension that may generate as a result of this.

 

“And by the grace of God, we maintain peace in that area where such bombings are taking place,” he said. 


In October 2022, at least 46 people were killed in separate attacks by herdsmen on communities in Benue and Nasarawa states.


 


About 36 people were shot dead and their houses were burnt in an early morning attack in Gbeji, a community in the Ukum Local Government Area of Benue State. Also, at least 10 people including women and children were reportedly killed in a similar attack on farmers in Gidan Sule, Kardoroko area in the Keana Local Government Area of Nasarawa State.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
