 Kebbi Govt Donates 10 Hilux Vehicles to Boost Security on Sokoto–Badagry Super Highway  The Kebbi State Government has handed over 10 brand-new Hilux vehicles to the Federal Ministry of Works to strengthen security for personnel working on the Sokoto–Badagry Super Highway project. The vehicles were formally received by the Minister of State for Works, Bello Muhammad Goronyo, who praised Kebbi State Governor, Dr. Nasiru Idris (Kauran Gwandu), for the donation. Goronyo described the gesture as a clear demonstration of the state government’s commitment to protecting workers and contractors on the strategic highway corridor. He explained that the vehicles will be deployed exclusively to security operatives providing cover for construction teams along the section of the super highway passing through Kebbi State. This is to inform students of Lagos State indigenes in tertiary institutions across the country that applied for the year 2021/2022 academic session Bursary and Local Scholarship Awards that oral interview has been scheduled for Monday, 23rd – Tuesday, 31st January, 2023.

The interview dates for the awards are scheduled as follows.

1. Evidence of indigeneship from:
(a) An Oba/Baale/Regent/Chief of your village, town or city and
(b) Local Government/Local Council Development Areas
2. Current JAMB letter of Admission
3. JAMB result slip
4. Student’s identity card
5. Birth Certificate
6. Academic Certificate obtained
7. Current semester result (for 8. scholarship applicants only)
9. Lagos State Residents Registration Agency (LASRRA) identification card of the applicant
10. Parents’ Tax Certificate

Any other documentary evidence
PLEASE NOTE that all LAGOS STATE UNIVERSITY (LASU) and LAGOS STATE POLYTECHNIC (LASPOTECH) students are exempted from this exercise. The exercise is ONLY for the stated dates and there won’t be any extension of dates whatsoever.
