 Press Release: Every Hisbah Officer Is a Peace and Security Ambassador in His Community. Kano State Governor Alh.Abba Kabir Yusuf has reaffirmed the determination of his administration to ensure security and peace  for the protection of lives and property across the state. The Governor, represented by the Commissioner for Religious Affairs, Sheikh Ahmad Tijjani Sani Auwal, made the commitment during a stakeholders meeting on the contribution of shari'a sector institutions toward promoting peace and security in Kano State. The meeting was organized by the Kano State Hisbah Board and held at the Coronation hall Government House, Kano. He emphasized that security is a collective responsibility and urged the Hisbah Board to focus more on providing intelligence reports to conventional security agencies, rather than limiting efforts to moral enforcement alone. NIGERIAN STUDENT CONVERTS SACHET WATER WASTE TO KEROSENE AND DIESEL.(PHOTOS).

Nigerian student ,  Zaynab Bilyamin, from the Federal University Dutse (FUD) , converts sachet water waste to kerosene and diesel .

FUD student converts ‘pure water’ sachets to kerosene, diesel

Zainab Bilyamin, a final year student of the Department of Chemistry Federal University Dutse has converted sachet water waste to hybrid fuel (kerosene and diesel) as her final year project.

Her research project is titled “Conversion of low-density polyethylene and mixed low-density polyethylene with polyethylene terephthalate into fuel”.

According to FUD Newsletter, the final result shows that the hybrid fuel produced from the pure water waste products has similar properties as normal kerosene and diesel as it was used to light up a kerosene lamp and power a pumping machine successfully.
