 SANWO-OLU AT HARVARD: LAGOS IS INVESTORS' DELIGHT With a GDP of $259b, a 25 million population, four seaports, and friendly government policies, Lagos is an investor’s delight, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has said.  “Lagos is a place where people come in without anything and become somebody. We are a business and commercial powerhouse,” he said on Wednesday.  It was another sales drive for the “State of Aquatic Splendour” at Harvard Business School where Mr. Sanwo-Olu spoke on “Building the Future: Lagos State Infrastructure-led Transformation”. He was a guest in Professor Hakeem Belo-Osagie’s course, “Understanding Africa: Business, Entrepreneurship, Political Economy and the Complexities of a Continent.” Belo-Osagie is a foremost Nigerian investment banker and businessman. A Prophetess and the Spiritual director of the Arena of Grace And Prophetic Ministry Worldwide has shared a shocking story of how her husband escaped abduction along Onitsha - Enugu Expressway.

She wrote; 

"Good morning people of God, I wanted to keep this testimony till next Wednesday but the joy of What God did for me couldn’t allow me.

"My husband escaped kidnappers yesterday, on his way coming to umunya, he had already passed Igbarim coming down to AWKUZU (at a speed limit of 100) when he suddenly saw one tinted spider coming one way towards him and double-crossed him almost immediately, according to him, all the cars at his back began to reverse and ran back, leaving only him and them in a lonely express, the people inside the tinted spider became confused, they paused my husband paused 🤣 in few minutes of the incidence they reversed their car and left just like that. See what the lord has done 🙌

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up. The Appellant is an actor. He acted in a script that he was invited to act by his colleague (PW1), Damilola Adekoya,” he said.
