 GOVERNOR ABBA  YUSUF SACKS  KANO STATE HEAD OF SERVICE   The Executive Governor of Kano State, Abba Kabir Yusuf, has relieved the State Head of Service, Abdullahi Musa, of his appointment with immediate effect. In a statement  by the Director General, Media and Publicity to the Governor, Sunusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, the decision is part of the ongoing efforts by the present administration to reposition the state civil service for greater efficiency, discipline, and improved service delivery across all government institutions. Governor Yusuf expressed appreciation to the outgoing Head of Service for his contributions and dedication to the service of the State  The statement further directed that Bilkisu Shehu Maimota, the Permanent Secretary, Admin and General Services at the Cabinet Office, to serve in an  acting capacity pending the appointment of a substantive Head of Service. Unknown Gunmen Abducts Scores Of School Pupils In Doma

Scores of pupils at LGEA Primary School Alwaza, Doma LGA of Nasarawa State have been kidnapped by gunmen suspected to be kidnappers. 

The gunmen invaded the public school Friday morning and whisked away the children to unknown destination. 

A community youth leader who confirmed the incident said the kidnappers were heavily armed. 

He said about six(6) children were abducted by the gunmen. 

Operatives of the Nigeria Police have been deployed for the rescue of the abducted children.
