  A manhunt is underway for man who shot a Granite City Police Officer multiple times. Officers in Granite City, Illinois, responded to a call regarding a unwanted subject near the 2000 block of Johnson Road at 2:20 p.m. on Friday, December 5th. Upon arrival, officers attempted to make contact with the suspect. The suspect opened fire on officers before fleeing the scene.  Unfortunately, one officer was struck multiple times. The officer was rushed to a St. Louis University Hospital. He is expected to make a full recovery.  A massive manhunt is now underway to locate the suspect. Authorities warn the public that the man is considered armed and dangerous. CHANGE OF DATE FOR NIGERIAN AIR FORCE DIRECT SHORT SERVICE COMMISSION 31/2022 ENLISTMENT SCREENING EXERCISE


This is to inform the general public that the screening exercise for candidates shortlisted for Direct Short Service Commission       (DSSC 31/2022) earlier scheduled for 2 – 19 March 2023, has been reschedule for 1 – 9 March 2023 for both Batches (A and B). Please note that the exercise is in progressive phases and late reporting will not be entertained.  Accordingly, candidates are hereby advised to report promptly on Wednesday 1 March 2023 for the exercise. All other details remain unchanged. For emphasis, screening Exercise for Batches A and B is to hold from 1 – 9 March 2023.
