 BAMIDELE OLUMILUA UNIVERSITY OF EDUCATION, SCIENCE AND TECHNLOGY, IKERE-EKITI RE-A VIRAL VIDEO OF BULLYING OF A FEMALE STUDENT IN BOUESTI It has come to our attention that a disturbing incident involving some  students of the Bamidele Olumilua University of Education, Science and Technology, Ikere-Ekiti (BOUESTI) has surfaced on social media platforms. A video showing one Miss Opemiposi Precious BOLAJI, an 18 year old 100L Mass Communication student beating her colleague identified as Miss Gloria AJAYI, a 100L Mass Communication student, in a private hostel outside the University campus has gone viral. In accordance with our institution's policies and extant regulations, the students who were captured in the viral video, appeared  before the Students' Disciplinary Committee at its emergency meeting held on Monday, May 6, 2024 for interrogations and appropriate recommendations, the report of which has been submitted to the University authorities.  Court bars INEC from using MC Oluomo to distribute election materials


Justice Chukwujekwu Aneke of the Federal High Court, Lagos, has granted the prayer of the Labour Party, LP, seeking an order to bar the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, from using the Chairman of the Lagos Parks and Garages, Musliu Akinsanya, better known as MC Oluomo, from distributing election materials in Lagos.


The LP and five persons had sought a court order to bar MC Oluomo from participating in the distribution of electoral materials.


They cited concerns over his alleged association with political violence and thuggery.

He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha.  Punish my abusers within 48 hours or face lawsuit - Student bullied by her classmates threaten school authorities The bullied student of British Lead International School, Miss. Namtira Bwala has threatened to file a lawsuit against the school authorities if her abusers are not punished within 48 hours. In a letter drafted by her lawyers, Deji Adeyanju and Co, Namtira asked the school authorities to immediately investigate and pronounce the stiffest punishments in the student’s rule book on Ms.Maryam Hassan, Miss Faliya, and nine other students who bullied her.
