 Kaduna Court Jails Fake Australian for Fraud  Justice Jaafaru Zubairu of the Kaduna State High Court has convicted and sentenced one Faruk Suleiman Ololade (a.k.a Caesar Smith) to three years imprisonment  for fraud.  He was prosecuted by the Kaduna Zonal Directorate of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC on a one-count charge bordering on impersonation.   The charge reads: “That you, Faruk Suleiman Ololade (a.k.a Mr Caesar Smith) on or about the 12th of February, 2026 in Kaduna within the jurisdiction of this Honourable Court, impersonated one Mr Caesar Smith (an Australian) via Facebook platform and in such assumed character, attempted to defraud members of the public and you thereby committed an offence contrary to Section 142 (1) of the Kaduna State Penal Code Law, 2017 and punishable under the same law.”  He pleaded guilty to the charge, upon which the prosecution counsel, Moses Arumemi prayed the court to convict and sentence him ...

DSS Invites Fani-Kayode Over Alleged Coup Plot By Atiku

The Department of State Services, DSS, has invited a spokesperson of the Bola Tinubu/ Shettima Campaign Council, Femi Fani-Kayode over claims that the Presidential Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Atiku Abubakar met with some Service Chiefs and was planning a 'Coup'.

Confirming his invitation on Social media on Monday morning, FFK wrote; "3 days ago, on the day that I tweeted about newspaper reports alleging that Atiku was secretly meeting with Army Generals,I got a text message from someone who claimed to be DSS asking me to report to them on a matter of national security.

"I dismissed the invitation because it was vague and I was not sure whether it really came from the DSS. In any case I had no intention of going anywhere unless I was formally invited. 

To my surprise I received a formal letter from them to report to their office without fail 2 days later, which was yesterday evening. I put a call through to them & was advised to take the matter very seriously & report to them on the stipulated day and time otherwise the worse may happen."

 How Suspected Phone Snatchers Killed Army Lieutenant In Kaduna  An army officer identified as Lieutenant IM Abubakar has reportedly been hacked to death by a gang that specialises in phone snatching and other crimes. The deceased was killed in the Unguwan Sarki area of Kaduna metropolis during the week. A popular counter-insurgency expert and security analyst in Lake Chad, Zagazola Makama disclosed this in a Twitter post. Makama described Abubakar as a talented officer.  He said, “Lt IM Abubakar(Isa) A Young Talented Army Officer Was Killed By Phone Snatchers on His Way Home In Unguwan Sarki, Kaduna. May his soul rest in peace.”
